Holiday Inn Express London, An Ihg Hotel

“Nice hotel. Would stay here again.”

Nice hotel. Could use a bit of cosmetic updates. Overall, it’s nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The bathroom is spacious and the room is very comfortable. The only noise comes from outside (like the parking lot) if people are talking. Beds are comfortable.

I was a bit disappointed when I arrived, because this hotel is not in town, rather in a sort of industrial area with truck stops, a marijuana dispensary, and a bunch of fast food places. Staff was helpful and check in was quick. while the staff warned us that smoking anything in the room was forbidden, it seemed as if someone had been vaping in there because it had a pretty strong maple smell. not unpleasant, but odd. The room had the standard amenities like fridge, microwave, etc. the room had a somewhat clumsy bathroom area where the sink and toilet are on opposite sides of the room. the toilet/shower area was quite small. no worries about someone barging in while you are on the toilet because there is no way they could open the door if you were! The AC worked well the hotel had a small gym, but at least it had some free weights. There were no "real" restaurants in the immediate area, but there was a good one a few miles away in the official town. sleep quality was good. breakfast was good.

Hotel is ok, for most part it’s clean. Torn Screens on windows outside kind of set the stage for what to expect. Hotel is ok, for most part it’s clean. Torn Screens on windows outside kind of set the stage for what to expect. The room has an off smell, the wall around the AC unit is a disaster cracked and crumbling. Water has very strong over powering smell so assume it’s well water, they at least have a water machine so you can have fresh water for drinking or brushing teeth. Shower heads need replaced, all orange corroded and limited to choice of spray. Direct TV reboots 1 or 2 times while watching it. Overall if not for working in the area, I would look elsewhere in the future.
