Wonderful location for Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown! This will be a place to stay again. We were within 20 minutes of all kinds of activities during our stay. Easy to navigate and quiet place to stay.

We do a girl's trip every year. This year Busch Gardens Hallowscream, Williamsburg Winery and Outlet shopping. We find the Hilton Vacation Club at Powhatan a wonderful location to stay. Centrally located to all our destinations, great amenities, beautiful grounds, roomy condos and friendly, helpful staff. Have stayed here in the past and will continue to come back here.

“The parts that worked were really nice :)”

We went to Busch Gardens all day and checked in after 11:00 pm. There was a line because I assumed everyone else did the same thing we did....left Howl-o-scream and then checked in. It took a little while to check in. My husband was in the car with the kids and they were asleep by the time I got back to them. I think the issue was other travelers were using other sites to book and it was causing confusion. I booked directly so once it was my turn, there were no issues. They gave us a map to find our apartment. It was very dark and hard to locate the numbers but we finally found our parking spot and went inside. It was very nice. We were on the upper level and I don't think there was anyone below us. We were tired and we basically went to bed. There were 2 bedrooms -each with a connected bathroom. Kitchen, living area with fireplace and a small porch/balcony. It was a nicely decorated, pretty place. Check out was at 10am (which I feel is a little early). We got up and took showers. My husband went first and noticed there were 3 bottles in the shower ( 2 shower gels and 1 conditioner). I went to the other shower where my daughter had just finished up and took some shampoo to my husband. My daughter told me that the outlets in her bathroom did not work so she was straightening her hair in the bedroom using her cell phone as a mirror. After my shower, I tried the outlets in my bathroom and they didn't work either. I tried the outlets in the living area and they did not work. It was then that I noticed that the light over the dining table and the lights in the living area did not work. The tv in the living room would not come on. I did my hair sitting on the floor in the master bedroom beside the full length mirror. Upon checkout, I told the front desk clerk about the issues we ran into and she wrote it all down. The building next to ours had a large dumpster out front. I'm assuming they are renovating and had just finished our unit. Maybe we were the first to stay there after the renovations and that is why half of our apartment was without power. We would definitely stay here again if the price is right. It was nice having 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms when traveling as a family. And Duck Doughnuts was right around the corner so we had a nice little breakfast after checking out. There were many amenities that we would have liked to look into at the property but we simply didn't have time.
