I have my semi annual meetings at this hotel with about 20 attendees. The meeting rooms and catered food is excellent as well as the staff in the sales department. The only issue that I have is that since I have become a gold member, I am not getting my bonus points that were promised nor did I get points for the meeting room and food. When I email Hilton about it, they didn't fix it.

“Beautiful hotel but front desk needs better service!!”

We visited this hotel on May 17-19. The hotel is very nice and rooms are modern. The reception employee needs to be nicer, as you feel like you are disturbing her… The room wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived, there was hair in the bathroom and the mirror had greasy hand marks on it…We reques… more

We visited this hotel on May 17-19. The hotel is very nice and rooms are modern. The reception employee needs to be nicer, as you feel like you are disturbing her… The room wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived, there was hair in the bathroom and the mirror had greasy hand marks on it…We requested pillows from the front desk and they never came, so we asked the kind concierge that came to fix our toilet and he brought us some right away. As soon as we arrived in our room and used the toilet it overflowed all over the floor…so I called the lady at the front desk who didn’t even seem to care, she just said ok we will send someone as soon as possible… Two hours later, the water was still all over the washroom floor and the toilet was still overflowing so we called again and the employee said that she placed the called and that there was nothing else she could do… She never once apologized or offered to change us rooms which was very disappointing as we needed to get ready for dinner as we had a dinner reservation. The HotTub needs new jets, but the pool and hot tub were both very clean. The guy that takes care of this was the same person that ended up fixing our toilet. He is really good at his job and the hotel is really lucky to have him as part pf the team. We often visit Syracuse from Canada, but do to the service received front the front desk, I unfortunately don’t think we will be back, but the hotel and rooms are beautiful and has lots of potential.

“Not great! Could not get food and drink because they closed early. We were not offered complimentary water either days.”

My husband is a diamond member. When we arrived at 9:40pm after a long drive. We were not offered the complimentary water. (My husband would newer ask for it, nor should he have to.) We head for the bar to get food and drink both closed early!! 😢

“A Late Night Hot Tub”

At this Hilton Garden Inn, one may not need to have the whirl pool room because it has one in the pool area and it stays open til 10pm but 11pm is ideal (others may stay open til 8pm which sometimes does not give one enough time to settle into their room, after work or dinner because they may feel … more

At this Hilton Garden Inn, one may not need to have the whirl pool room because it has one in the pool area and it stays open til 10pm but 11pm is ideal (others may stay open til 8pm which sometimes does not give one enough time to settle into their room, after work or dinner because they may feel rushed to not miss the pool or hot tub area, its nice when some hotels have a time for the kids and a time for the adults when using the pool hot tub area.
