“Unforgettable positive experience”
When we checked into the hotel we encountered Albert at the front desk. He was pleasant and friendly and checked us in, in record time. When we checked into the hotel we encountered Albert at the front desk. He was pleasant and friendly and checked us in, in record time. We appreciated that because we were so tired when we arrived at the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that this hotel is so well taken care of. From the rooms to the elevators to the common areas of the hotel everything is clean and nicely decorated. But one of the main reasons we ended up booking a room at this hotel was because of a conversation initially had with “Kinga” over the phone. She was friendly and extremely helpful with resolving a reservation I had made with the hotel. She was the consummate professional. She made such a great first impression that when we realized later that we would need a hotel we decided to stay at this one. And we are so happy we did. I met Kinga in person the next morning when I was washing a load of clothes and discovered the dryer was not working. When I went to the front desk to report it Kinga quickly sprung into action to quickly resolve the issue. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did she return the money I had already put into the dryer she also offered to have our clothes dried in their hotel dryers and have them delivered to our room. Unheard of nowadays. And this is why I am taking the time in the busiest time of the year to provide this positive feedback on this amazing individual for providing this superior level of service. Clearly management is focused on providing an unforgettable and positive customer service experience. It shows through the amazing team they have there. We are beyond grateful for our positive experience at this Hilton Garden Inn and look forward to returning.

“Great location and overall property.”
I highly recommend this hotel. It is located 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg which was the perfect distance away from the crowds. I highly recommend this hotel. It is located 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg which was the perfect distance away from the crowds. It also had a lot of restaurants and stores around it which was helpful. The property itself was modern and clean. The pool and hot tub were a hit with my family. I appreciated that the breakfast was either a buffet or you could order off the menu. The room was clean and modern. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and always greeted me with a smile when I walked by.

The location of the hotel is good for seeing the local sites without getting caught-up in all the traffic. The hotel lobby is very nice and the rooms were clean. The location of the hotel is good for seeing the local sites without getting caught-up in all the traffic. The hotel lobby is very nice and the rooms were clean. However what made our stay enjoyable was the level of service from the lobby and bar staff. Christie the bar manager was most helpful in directing us to good local restaurants as well as taking excellent care of us while in the bar. We wanted to watch the OSU football game Saturday at noon and Tim set us up at the big table and big screen in the lobby side room. These folks just went out of their way to make us feel like friends rather than guests.

We originally booked another hotel down the street, it was a dump. Sometimes you try to save a few hundred dollars but then end up regretting it, just pay the extra and stay in a Hilton, I've never been disapointed and you won't be either. The staff are professional in every way and the hotel is decorated beautifully. Complimentary ice lemon water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate greet you as you enter. Everything is spotless as always, the rooms are so comfortable and clean. We used the pool, it was clean, also used laundry, everything good. My only complaint was the price of breakfast. I thought it was complimentary, but when the waiter brought me the bill, it was sky-high for the quality. There are many fast food restaurants and a Walmart and Supermarket very close by, very convenient location. Free parking is always a bonus too! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg Review September 2024 Checked In for one night (2 adults). 1. Bathroom sink slow to drain but we lived with it. 2. Not recognized as Hilton Diamond members. 5. $20 food credit for Diamond members not applied to our breakfast bill($10/person). Called hotel – Desk associate said it will be applied to credit card. That was a week ago – Emailed general manager a week later – Still waiting as of review. Not the first or even the second time this has happened. My wife specifically mentioned the $20 credit we should receive to the breakfast server. 6. Hotel rates seem to be increasing exponentially (not sure why as service and caliber of property has declined) 3 stars is being kind
