Have stayed at this Residence Inn many times over the last 15 years. It has changed very little. It was taken over by a different company a few years ago and they have not invested or improved. Counts on business fron companies supporting nearby Intel campus. There are other hotels, including another Residence Inn, that are newer and better.

“Stay was okay”

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. We stayed here for 5 days. The location was good. Not far from the highway and there were stores/restaurants nearby but not in walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. We stayed here for 5 days. The location was good. Not far from the highway and there were stores/restaurants nearby but not in walking distance. Driving to all the locations we visited, this wasn’t a bad place to come back to for driving distance. Free Breakfast was okay. I definitely miss pre covid days of self service and the waffles. The menu was the same each day. Pool was nice but you can only reserve 1 hour blocks and the pool is limited to 6 people. Cons: very limited on dishes in the room. We had 2 big plates, 2 small plates and 2 small bowls. 4 spoons and only 1 fork. 1 big pan and 1 big pot. My son is a picky eater so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals and felt very limited with this kitchenette. We’ve rented lots of hotels that included small kitchenettes like this and this is the first that we encountered such limited supply. They only do room service if you are staying for more than five days and will service the room on the fourth night. We usually don’t do room service/cleaning but our son was quite messy and there were crumbs on the floor. I had called on our third day to request for someone to stop by to do a quick vacuum while we were out for the day and the front desk denied the request and reported that the room will be serviced tomorrow. I had to be adamant about getting someone in to vacuum as I picked up as much as I could but without a broom or vacuum I couldn’t get everything. She had to call me back after checking with housekeeping if they could fit us in. I understand staffing is limited but if so then they need to leave a broom and dustpan so people can do their own cleaning then. No one wants to stay in a dirty room for four days straight. We had to request multiple times for trash bags too which was annoying and until the fourth day they finally brought more than 1 bag. Since we were checking out early on the fifth day, I had called to request that housekeeping skip our cleaning on the fourth day which was scheduled since we had our room vacuumed the day before. Front desk was reluctant to cancel the cleaning and demanded we give them a reason. Like first off, you didn’t want to come vacuum when I asked and now you don’t want to cancel when I request it? I found it pointless to have our room serviced the day before we leave. Like why have housekeeping come clean it twice if it’s not needed? They really need to revisit their housekeeping policy to schedule housekeeping to occur in the middle of the stay and not the second to last day of the stay. On our next visit back to Oregon, we will not be rebooking.

“A BIG know before you go”

While the property is acceptable it should be disclosed that the property does not have elevators, stairs only. For some that might be okay, others it is a hard stop. Location is good with lots of options for a quick meal.
