“Vacation in Greensboro”

This hotel is in a nice location. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a few items that need attention. Yes, guests at Mainstay Suites Greensboro have highlighted that: This hotel is in a nice location. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a few items that need attention. Fixing these issues would have made my overall rating of the hotel go up from very good to excellent. These items are pretty easy to fix, it just requires a little thinking and checking the room/inventories every week or so. 1. There were 3 knives in the kitchen. But all 3 were serrated knives, exactly the same type. This doesn't help. When you provide 3 knives please make sure that these are of different kinds. A serrated knife is great for cutting meat but cutting most vegetables with it is a nightmare (you can try if don't believe me). Also, a peeler will be great. 2. We noticed that there was only one dinner plate and one small plate in the kitchen. Mainstay Suites is typically a hotel where families stay (often for a longer period of time). Therefore it is important to supply at least 2 dinner plates in each room (more if it is a family suite for 3-4 people). 3. In our room the bathroom flush had some issues (water leaking causing continuous sound). I informed the front desk person in the evening who called her manager and told me that the issue will be resolved the next day. But that never happened.
