“Great place to stay for High Island and environs”
I stayed in the Winnie Hampton Inn for several nights and was quite pleased. My room was good in all ways, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was a typical Hampton breakfast. “Not a great experience.”
When I extended my stay one night, the hotel upped the rates they charged. They lied telling me the rates would not change. Added over $40 per night. Refused to help, said it was the website (when I called them directly), out of their hands, et cetera. Refused to work with me and told Hilton.com th… more
