My husband, two daughters and I stayed here one night in September because we were going to a concert at the Bon Secours center. This hotel was the perfect location. We were able to walk down Main Street to get something to eat. And then we were able to walk to the concert. The room was a bit cramped for four people but fine for the one night we were there. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Checking in was a breeze and the front desk employee was very friendly. The only issue I noticed was the water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. I wish we had had more time to explore the Main St river area. If I was ever going to be in the area again I would stay there again.

Sometimes being late pays off...the room block I was supposed to have gotten at other hotels were all sold out at the "reduced" rate and were insanely expensive. I know we wanted to still be near everyone so the location and price of the Holiday Inn checked all the boxes, so I took a chance and honestly, didn't expect much...it was my own fault. It was truly a great mistake! From free breakfast, free parking, and literally being in a quiet hotel, still in walking distance of ALL the restaurants, shops, and those other hotels I didn't stay at (where everyone else complained about their stays for one reason or another and had to pay insane fees for valet or parking), I was living it up. Now, don't expect top of the line luxuries, but if you can get past that...it is so worth it. The other thing is the staff is always smiling and trying. They were so sweet and friendly. They went out of there way to make our stay welcoming. A special shout out to Jisele, who in the evening, when I asked about the fresh-baked, yummy cookies (yes, they do that) and if that was only a morning/afternoon thing, she asked what kind I liked for she said it makes it smell good and she knew others would appreciate them too. In less than 30 minutes, Jisele had baked up hot, gooey chocolate chip cookies and sent us to bed happy indeed.... Again, a wonderful mistake staying here...I recommend it before needing to break the bank if you are looking for a place to rest your head and explore!

“Great location nearby beautiful city center”

Nice, clean hotel with all standard amenities you can expect in a Holiday Inn. Quiet rooms with enough space. Large parking lot and good breakfast. Good service. Small pool and rather poor pool. In walking distance to downtown Greenville.

“Unexpected incidental charges”

Overall a great experience, the staff are lovely and very helpful, with the exception of the manager. I had 3 different amounts of incidental charges taken from my credit card on 3 consecutive days, totalling over $250. I couldn’t find out why and am still waiting for them to be returned even thoug… more

Overall a great experience, the staff are lovely and very helpful, with the exception of the manager. I had 3 different amounts of incidental charges taken from my credit card on 3 consecutive days, totalling over $250. I couldn’t find out why and am still waiting for them to be returned even though I was told that the money would be returned after 5-10 working days. I’ve tried emailing Drake, the hotel manager but haven’t received a reply. Watch the charges on your card people or your spending money could be seriously depleted without you realising.
