The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was wonderful. We had breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday. The women who cook our omelette was wonderful. She was so friendly and joyful. The omelettes were delicious. The women who was picking up our plates at the table after breakfast also so professional and so sweet. Every single person we came in contact from the front desk to the security guard was so friendly and professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come again on our next visit.

“Everything I expect from an Embassy Suites”

I wanted to get away for the night and chose this Embassy Suites over the downtown Greenville one since this one has the signature Embassy atrium while the downtown one was not built with one. The hotel is situated on a golf course, convenient to Woodruff Road but set back so traffic noise isn't an issue. The atrium is spacious and well-furnished, with plenty of seating. While it doesn't have a signature fountain, it does have a stone waterfall-type water feature with foliage near one of the elevators. My suite was 812, a king suite with a mobility-accessible tub. This was my first time specifically booking an ADA room at a hotel, but it's the only way to get a suite here with a tub and not a walk-in shower. Additionally, in the past year, my knee pain has gotten significantly worse. It seems a bit odd that an ADA room would be all the way up on the 8th floor, and halfway down the hall from the elevator, but it is what it is. I noted no cleanliness or major maintenance issues with my suite. The "bathroom" sink was actually in the bedroom, presumably so enough room could be provided in the bathroom to maneuver a wheelchair without actually making the bathroom itself larger than in a standard suite. Other than that, the layout was typical Embassy Suites - living room with pull-out sofa, chair, TV, and large table, wet bar with microwave and refrigerator, and separate bedroom with its own TV. The suite was nice and comfortable, although hotels in general need to start using fitted sheets designed for thicker mattresses so they don't start coming off mid-stay. This is a relatively minor problem, but one I've encountered at nearly every hotel I've been at recently. Wi-fi worked well, but the TV signal kept going in and out on account of the pretty nasty storms that passed through the area during the night I stayed. The bottled water placed on the wet bar in my suite would have cost $7 if I had cracked it open - I thought hotels stopped doing this, honestly. Resist the temptation if you see it in your room. The in-house restaurant is pretty good. So is the free morning breakfast (I'm trying to cut down on my alcohol intake so I didn't sample the evening manager's reception.) Staff service was friendly and efficient, as was the hotel shuttle - and it's not limited to just airport runs. I was more than satisfied with my stay at the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort. It was clean, comfortable, and had the classic Embassy atrium that I've become a fan of. Food service was also very good here, and the shuttle was prompt and efficient. It also seemed to be a bit more updated than other atrium-style Embassy Suites, while still maintaining a tasteful and attractive appearance. I can easily see myself returning to this hotel whenever I need to stay in the area.

“Don't miss the chef's omelets!”

I went for my second time to a retreat from Friday through Sunday. The experience was just as wonderful as it was last year! I did want to give a shout out to two employees who stood out to me. I went for my second time to a retreat from Friday through Sunday. The experience was just as wonderful as it was last year! I did want to give a shout out to two employees who stood out to me. Queen/Quinn (sorry for the spelling) made my custom omelet on Saturday and Sunday mornings. PERFECTLY executed and utterly delicious! In fact, all the food was delicious, breakfast being my favorite meal to start the day right. Their balsamic dressing was the best I've ever had. I'd also like to compliment Viviana. She brought a brand new conditioner to replace the one I had emptied in the shower. What wonderful products they had (shampoo/conditioner, body wash and body lotion) and I enjoyed not having to unpack mine. After learning that the facility I've been to in North Carolina wasn't going to hold our retreats anymore, I was wondering how this location would meet the bar set high by our previous facility. I'm so happy for the change--I've truly enjoyed my very comfortable and enjoyable stay!
