We were in Glendale for a hockey tournament & our team stayed at this hotel The staff are friendly. Check in was quick. Rooms are spacious and clean. Free breakfast is perfect. The coffee is actually best I’ve had ( and I’m a coffee drinker ) Coin Laundry on site is perfect Pool, putting green/corn hole & fire pit are great as well. Plenty of parking on site $5/day However, the best part of this hotel is the location. Walking distance or very short drive to everything Would definitely recommend this hotel

I prefer this hotel to others although it is a little farther away from the family we are visiting. The employees are friendly, responsive and helpful. It is more handicap friendly than other hotels in the same chain. there is access to snacks and convenience foods and items. No room service; yet, there is a decent hot or cold breakfast included in the price. There was some construction going on but I didn’t notice it until we were leaving- the front desk and lobby was being dismantled. That gave us a few laughs. Oh, the beds suited us. Slept like a log.

We recently traveled to the area to attend a graduation. We've been traveling to the Phoenix area for over 20 years. However, this was the first time staying in Glendale. Hotel Location: The hotel is located right off the 101 loop; super easy to access. It is located near the Westgate Sports and Entertainment district. There is PLENTY to do and eat within the immediate area. We were super impressed with the restaurant, bars, and shopping. An outlet mall is also in the immediate area. There is a very nice casino located about 5 minutes away as well. There's Top Golf, a moving theater, bowling alley, etc. also in the area. Hotel Lobby/Grounds: The lobby was well appointed and clean. The grounds were manicured and taken care of. The hotel is located across from a Residence Inn. Both hotel share the pool area located between the two hotels. Check-in: We arrived super early as we had early flight in. Although I had completed the check-in process online we went to the hotel on the off chance that a room would be available. Initially, we were told that it would be another 3 hours or so (which was understandable) so we left and went to breakfast. Halfway through our meal, David (front desk staff) called and stated our room was ready. This was amazing and truly appreciated. He was extremely patient and kind. Room: The room was nice. It had a separate living room area that was separated by doorway/wall. The two rooms shared a tv that was on a swivel stand. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. My only minor complaints about the room are 1) we could not properly regulate the A/C. I'm sure it was operator error but we had it either too hot or too cold. 2) the faucet in the bathroom was too short. This is just a weird design flaw. You are not going to wash your hands without scraping the back of the sink. and 3) there was no lotion in the room. There was body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (which I loved) but no lotion as is usually included in rooms. Overall, this room was worked well for us. Pool & Gym: Both were fine. The pool was large with plenty of loungers and tables for use. There were plenty of towels available as well. The gym was nice and clean. They had a good selection equipment as well as free weights. OVERALL: I cannot wait to get back to this SpringHill Suites!

From the outside this property looks quite nice. It shares the space with. Residence Inn and has a nice heated pool and a courtyard area that's lit up at night. It's also walking distance from a nice outdoor mall. Unfortunately everything else about it was terrible! The closet in our room was broken and when I went to open the bathroom door, the handle fell off! Our bed also wasn't very comfortable and the room just felt run down. Breakfast the first day was served downstairs, the space was way too small for the large number of travellers and the offerings were sub par: waffle machine, truly awful eggs and pork sausage. Very limited breads and all very low end. We don't expect miracles with a free Springhill suites breakfast but have stayed at dozens and they are usually much nicer. The second morning breakfast was served at the Residence Inn and was just as crowded and limited. Very disappointing stay
