“Great place to stay!!!!@”
Great room. Clean. Staff excellent. No pool. Great price. Cold a/c. Store next door for drinks and snacks.

“Affordable Lodging”
We were able to obtain lodging at Howard Johnson at a reasonable rate that allowed us to be only a few minutes to the beach. It was define an older hotel, but acceptable for an overnight stay in terms of safety, level of comfort, location, and price.

“Good place for night before cruise”
This property is a good place to stay before your cruise. It is close to the Galveston Cruise Terminal and has a shuttle service across the street. They allow Cruise Parking for $5 a night! “Got my steps in!”
There isn’t an elevator, so if you have knee or hip problems, be sure to ask for a ground floor room. Breakfast consists of white bread, cereal, honey buns, & muffins. Coffee, OJ & milk were also available. There is a convenience store right next door & across the street.
