The hotel is nice. I practically live in hotels, especially Marriotts. So, I have my fair share of ups and downs. Some of the downs were, there was no soap. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for soap, and i stayed for an entire week straight and they only serviced the room once during the stay. I know some properties nowadays clean or service once every other day now, but once in an entire week is a bit much. Now, you’re getting to the point of needing to ask to replace toilet paper and tissue paper. Not to mention the stockpile of recycling and garbage. Pre-COVID, there was a program that was optional, to have your room serviced once every 3 days or five and you’d get bonus points as the guest. Now, the option is taken away with the hotels saving a great deal of money on not servicing as often, but now you are sacrificing the quality of the institution of the property itself. It’s a Courtyard. However, I recently returned from several weeks in Central America. It was amazing. They’d make animals out of towels, clean the room daily, everything was pristine, breakfast was included and was as great as some breakfasts I’ve had at JW Marriott properties. But Courtyards in the U.S. don’t have breakfast included, not even for Titanium or Ambassador Elite members. So, not all of the same name brand are created equal. I’ve stayed at several Courtyards in California that stand out from the rest. So, it depends. The suite was great. There’s no gym at the moment, it’s under construction. Plenty of parking and tons of things nearby. I’d stay again. But, hopefully they’d address servicing the room more than once a week.

Meh. Beds are super firm, HVAC has a governor so you can't go below a certain temp or above a temp, no extra blankets in the closet, we had to got get them from the desk. Meh. Beds are super firm, HVAC has a governor so you can't go below a certain temp or above a temp, no extra blankets in the closet, we had to got get them from the desk. Facing a main road and we heard truckers with their jake brakes all night. Interior walls are paper thin so when the neighbors checked in at midnight and had trouble, we heard it all, along with the extended full voice discussion of who would sleep where. In the renovation they are removing the pool, so word to the wise if that is something you want. This is an older building, probably built in the 80s Pluses- clean, recently redecorated, friendly staff, located on a ring road of Frederick and basically less than 10 minutes from anything you are looking for except a drup stores. Was fine, but would not do again.

Bare minimum. Rooms are recently renovated. Rooms aren’t cleaned daily, typically the front desk mentions that when you check in, but they did not. Onsite dining is a counter with an air fryer, espresso machine and wine. The air fryer was out of order. Coffee was available for purchase until 9:30 on weekdays, and 10 on weekends, but there was no one behind the counter to order coffee from, so we never were able to buy any. I stood at the counter for few minutes thinking maybe the front desk was required to walk across the lobby and do both (which would be unfortunate if they were expected to do that), but the person behind the front desk never acknowledged me or said anything (nor did they have anyone at the front desk they were attending to). Seems overall that the lackluster customer experience is due to not having enough staff to appropriate cover the small property.

Stayed two nights this past weekend 10/20-22. Rooms were updated but dark. Very disappointed that there wasn't a coffee/hot water station in the lobby, no breakfast unless you purchased it at their cafe. No microwave in the room but did have a refrig. Stayed two nights this past weekend 10/20-22. Rooms were updated but dark. Very disappointed that there wasn't a coffee/hot water station in the lobby, no breakfast unless you purchased it at their cafe. No microwave in the room but did have a refrig. Since rooms were not cleaned daily there were no additional hot cups or coffee/tea packs. Surprised this was a Marriott.
