Room was clean and well maintained for a slightly older Staybridge. Breakfast done a little on the cheaper side with no individual yogurt but instead one big bowl of yogurt. No individual milk either. Attended the Wednesday evening social and again I felt it was done on the cheap side compared to other Staybridges i have stayed . I must come back in a couple of months and I will consider this property again depending on their rates.

“Still needs some work”

This is on the west loop of Fort Worth, convenient to medical center areas. The good: It is convenient to the expressways. It is surrounded by a few chain restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, and pharmacies. The prices here are a little better than hotels closer in. The kitchen area has a full refrigerator with an ice maker, a plus. There is a cook top, and most of the things you would need are in the kitchen. We did make some lunches and dinners there. There is a coffee maker, and they do supply coffee in the room. Some things lacking (see below). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. They have a "social" around dinner time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with a couple of beers, wines, soft drinks, and a hors d'oeuvre or two. Overall, the place is clean and safe. The not so good: They are remodeling and updating and that was known. We were in one of the newly updated rooms. The dishwasher was partially disassembled, I had it put it back together to work. The drainpipes under the sink fell out. The toilet paper holder was loose and turned sideways, so it could not be used. Some of the base boards were either missing or had already come loose and were gone. The plumbing and toilet paper holders were eventually fixed, but each took more than one request and more than one repair. The finishing work such as the painting is poorly done. The workmanship on their updates is lacking. Housekeeping is hit and miss some days. The trash cans in the room are tiny, even the kitchen. The trash cans fill up fast and all need to be emptied daily. The juice machine at the breakfast bar all seems watered down. Parking is lacking currently. Half the parking around back is filled with construction equipment and supplies. Many people had to park out on the street. The kitchen does not have a toaster, toaster oven. Once they complete the updates and fix the problems resulting from that, I am sure it will be on a better standing.

It was a great hotel for us. We came for the CrossFit games and we didn't spend much time there. They are renovating the hotel and we had a new room. It was a great hotel for us. We came for the CrossFit games and we didn't spend much time there. They are renovating the hotel and we had a new room. It was clean, bed was comfy and there was a kitchen with everything you'd need. Breakfast was ok didn't have much choice. Towels were replaced everyday and reception always happy to help with things. Pool was a good addition especially in the heat. There is lots of food places and supermarkets around. A great place for sleeping and breakfast. Lots of Ubers to get you around.
