Stayed here before a cruise and one night after my cruise Hotel is what you would expect for a Hyatt Place I stayed in their executive studio Large & very clean. I was on the first floor No complaints The overnight staff was extremely friendly and nice I like this place because you can walk to restaurants & a Publix No problem recommending this Hyatt Place before a cruise

“Park & Stay hotel”

This hotel is very nice but quite dated. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast well presented with lots of options. We also parked our car there for a week as we went on our cruise. Safe neighborhood with lots of resturaunt options close by. Would recommend this hotel for park & stay.

“Dated Hyatt Place with double beds, not queens.”

Booked one night, late flight which was delayed and didn’t arrive until 230 am. Staff was great but this is an older Hyatt Place. We’ve stayed at so many HP and the double room always has queen beds. Booked one night, late flight which was delayed and didn’t arrive until 230 am. Staff was great but this is an older Hyatt Place. We’ve stayed at so many HP and the double room always has queen beds. This had doubles, a tight fit for our family and beds very uncomfortable. Bedding was in need of replacement, no blankets for pull out couch. Surprised by $10 parking fee when not a downtown “city” property. Room didn’t feel particularly clean. Huge cruise hotel so it was a zoo in the morning, everyone lined up for the shuttle. Sadly I would not recommend this property. I’d rate it 2 stars but the super nice staff (Omar and woman at Check in) deserves the extra one.

“Double-Double Executive Studio Suite is NOT big enough for 4 adults”

Stay somewhere else if you've got 4 adults and can't book the 2 bedroom suites (there are only a couple of them). Stay somewhere else if you've got 4 adults and can't book the 2 bedroom suites (there are only a couple of them). You are looking at the location and thinking, "How convenient and there's breakfast" But there are several other places in this location that you should consider - Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn - and many places to eat nearby. Those other places are probably priced better and if you have a car, I don't think they charge for parking. (The $15 charge seems like a money grab. Hyatt Place, if you think there's a reasonable justification to charge $15 for the parking lot in a non-downtown area, let me know.) The front desk/staff is not the issue here; people were helpful and attentive. But. . . Like others, we had bad luck with the airport shuttle: 1.5 hour from call at the airport to arrival at the hotel. There's a $15 charge to self-park in the designated parking lot. If you have 4 adults, do NOT book the double-double. Hyatt Place has this as suitable for 4 adults; it is not. Given the layout, the room is probably smaller than a double room at the Hyatt Place or a standard hotel room with 2 beds. The sitting area would be fine for a single or 2 people but it is too small for 4 people. And we stayed here pre-cruise for a 14 day cruise so of course we had luggage but there not enough space for the luggage and the people to be in this space. And frankly, the value isn't there. You think you're willing to pay more for the Hyatt brand than the neighboring places, but unless you want one of the few 2 bedroom rooms that are available on this property, spend your money somewhere else. The "double-double executive room" is not worth it.
