“One night stay before our Cruise”
Booked this hotel one night before our the cruise, bit further from Fort Lauderdale airport, cost about USD 27.00 ride with Uber. Booked this hotel one night before our the cruise, bit further from Fort Lauderdale airport, cost about USD 27.00 ride with Uber. Galt hotel is under major renovation, so they put us next door at Royal Beach Palace Hotel, same hotel chain. They gave us a nice large Room with 2 double beds with private balcony. Good location across Win Dixie grocery stores and some restaurants, 8 minutes walk to the beach. Overall a very nice stay, they have a shuttle to the Port Everglades but we took Uber for less than USD20. We will be back next time we cruise from FLL.

I have to say o was super nervous about booking this hotel. I booked through Hotwire and this hotel was the one we got. I booked Three king rooms for my family for three nights for Martin Luther King Jr weekend. It is an older motel but our rooms were renovated. The tub was still pink but everything else was more modern. Very clean. The rooms had microwaves and refrigerators. It is super convenient to restaurants, did grocery stores, drug stores and a 10-15 minute walk to beach access. There are four pools to use. The beds were super comfy. We did not eat at the motel restaurant or the tiki bar. I will have to say that the lady in the office needed some training on how to deal with guests. Though not outright rude, her tone was a bit demeaning and was not very understanding of a cancelled flight and my attempt to have a later checkout. I realize she was just doing her job but she could have definitely used a better tone. This motel is not the ritz but is affordable and comfortable. Overall, I would book again. Note: I did call three times before we left to just remind them that I needed. Clean room for my one year old grandson.
