Although currently under construction, it did not overshadow the professional and welcoming staff and atmosphere, especially the awesome service provided by Kathleen. She made our first visit to this beautiful city feel like a welcoming warm breeze. She made sure our late night arrival was flawless. After our return from our cruise our travel agent mistakenly canceled our reservation. She didn’t turn us away and made sure our newly reserved room was above and beyond our expectations! The snack choices we received were awesome. We enjoyed fresh hot Mahi-mahi fish sandwiches and delicious hot wings at the E-Spot, served with a smile. The manager’s evening reception was very pleasant and lively (hiccup) with people from various countries sharing stories of travel adventures and experiences. Our suite was very clean with comfortable living room and oh the soft bed and pillows. Freshly made omelets were part of a great ending to our vacation. A big Thanks to Kathleen and staff at the Embassy Suites at Ft Lauderdale, FL on 17th Street.

There's no place like this home away from home. Once the flagship hotel of the Embassy Suites brand. The hotel is undergoing a beautiful transformation. Newly renovated rooms, hallways, and beautiful atrium. Kathleen, Cynthia, and Rosalie at the front desk and office make you feel welcome as you walk in the door. The housekeeping staff, Juliana, Jesliene, and others give full daily maid service. Phill, Aliona, and the rest of the restaurant staff at the E-spot keep you well fed. The famous Embassy cooked to order breakfast and nightly happy hour is still the best; just get there early if you want an omelet for breakfast. Thanks for the great stay.

Always love staying at the embassy suite. Returning from our 16 day cruise,with my handicapped mother, who’s so tired and ready for some rest but Sadly room ( with balcony) wasn’t ready and we waited for a couple of hours . A lot of noise due to construction inside the building so rest was not much of an option. When we finally checked in, room was roomy as usual , nicely set up. However, sink is cracked and left faucet was leaking when turned on so I left a face towel to stop water from dripping on the floor ( don’t want my mom slipping) ) the balcony that I paid for extra was so tightly locked that even my husband couldn’t open, disappointing as I couldn’t enjoy the view that I paid for. Toilet flush wasn’t working properly, had to get up a few times through the night to properly reset the flush so it stops making tank filling noise. Only had 1 bath towel for 3 adults! Checked out the happy hour selection, some potato chips and some vegs and ranch dressing and drinks and ordered some pizza at the restaurant. It was decent. Breakfast offered good selection of hot food and made to order omelets. The breakfast crew was very hands on , kept the serving tables tidy and tables clean which I loved. Enjoyed watching the koi ponds too. Also as a plus, shopping strip is walking distance. In summary, I rated it 3 due to the inconvenience and expectations not met.
