“Don't be deterred by poor reviews”
I stayed here for the Erie Marathon, selected because of its proximity to the race. I was nervous per the reviews I found. But upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. “Comfortable”
We picked this hotel because of its location close to peninsula. Great location, quiet where we were in hall far from pool. Pool looked nice but looked like rooms in that location would be noisy til 10 when pool closed. Worked for what we needed.

In a rush to get a room due to a unforeseen circumstances booked a room for our family. It appears to be a great hotel at one time. The pool was closed and had been for a long time.
