Embassy Suites By Hilton Dulles Airport

“Good !”

We have a good stay at this hotel. The room and the bathrooms were clean. The service was professional. The lobby area is lovely. The location of this hotel is super with lots of restaurants/cafes nearby. The carpets in the rooms are getting a bit dated. Overall, no issues with the stay.

Originally booked thru Expedia due to cheaper rate than direct, had the Hilton app and brought up my reservation, wanted to get a digital key due to arriving after 10pm at night and thought it would be fast, couldn’t do it due to app telling me I had to go front desk to make sure my 1 night stay had everything I needed which is a waste of my time. Had a $50 credit hold for incidentals which is whatever, get it back when you check out. Parking - very important read below so you don’t get towed or a warning which they add the first offense cost of $15 if your car isn’t towed First thing you must do is pay for parking $10 per day plus a $1 service charge via a QR code plastered on the light poles and front door sign and front desk signs. Very easy to do, asks basically how long you are staying and starts the time count down from when you pay for it and enter your vehicle license plate. So you can save a little more by waiting till you aren’t going anywhere to really pay for it then instead of checking in and running out for dinner or something and then coming back for the night if you understand what I’m saying. You can stay at least 15 days from what it was letting me pick if I wanted to. You can add time to your pass at anytime which is nice incase you need more time. There is no free parking here but they have plenty of parking spaces. There is a shuttle here to the airport which is cheaper than economy parking at the airport is not a bad choice plus it’s really close to the airport about a 5 minute drive or less, I utilized park and fly at the Hampton inn north Dulles for this recent trip. Rooms Musty smell when entering room, room a little outdated mainly the red carpet is hideous and not attractive. Bathroom is a little nice mainly mirror and countertop, bathtub is about normal good water pressure. Light fixtures were okay. Overall the bed was firm and it plush and the pillows weren’t terrible but they went flat quick and stayed like a pancake. Check out is at 12 pm which was great to have. Breakfast Still best breakfast out of the Hilton chain in my opinion, the made to order omelet and egg station was good, had a ton of food to choose from and juices with soda for choices. Chef was very nice. They gave us a a piece of paper to use for when getting breakfast at the omelet station. Overall Had the same feeling as other typical embassy suites nothing too over the top and not tropical like some of them can have a lot of greenery stuff inside. Always excited with glass elevators and staying up high gives you a great look, had a pool and hot tub I saw didn’t have time to enjoy or the reception since I came in late but it was quiet. I would note I’ve been in nicer Embassy’s but this one was good enough.
