Whilst this Hilton is a more basic accommodation and currently under renovations, it offers a clean and practical space, for an overnight stop if going to LAX. To me the real treasure in this hotel is the staff. All front counter staff made us feel so welcome. I'd like to thank in particular the male staff member (sorry I don't know your name!) Who just went above and beyond for my daughter and I, and the female staff member for her assistance when I used the wrong machine in the laundry. I would also like to thank Louis the shuttle bus driver for taking good care of us. The pool area is a really nice retreat, if you need some fresh air, and there's shops within a 5 to 10minute walk. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger laundry facility so customers can have more access to dryers. But overall a big thank you to all the lovely front desk staff. I've actually re-booked to stop there in the near future, as I'm travelling in and out of LAX.

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted by a grand entrance, with beautiful flowers, well maintained gardens, a fountain and flags, this set the tone for a tranquil stay. The hotel’s exterior was just as attractive as its interior, both had elegance and style. Check in was quick, easy and we were allocated a room on the top floor that we had requested. Our room was large and well-equipped with a TV, microwave, fridge, and facilities for making tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and we were happy with the abundance of plugs for charging our devices. The bathroom was of a decent size, however we did have an issue with cleanliness – which the front desk apologised for and quickly fixed. The large, heated pool and jacuzzi were a secluded oasis just off the busy street, the pool was heated for the winter but not lit up at night even though it closed at 10pm. We sadly we did not have time to try them out. Breakfast was served inside the modern and spacious lobby in a comfortable breakfast area, offering a basic but hot buffet, with pastries, fruit and drink options. There was an a la carte menu – but this came at a separate cost. The buffet was basic and could certainly be improved upon for a Hilton with more hot choices and better selection of pastries and fruit. Additional conveniences included an on-site shop and ice machines, enhancing the overall experience. Despite its proximity to LAX, the rooms were very quiet, and the inclusion of a shuttle service made transportation from the airport easy if this is what you require. Overall, we were very impressed and would not hesitate to stay again. This hotel is a gem for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat just 10 minutes’ drive from LAX!

“Not the best, but it was good nonetheless.”

Could the hotel use an update? Yes. Could the business center and jacuzzi actually work? Yes, as well. The hotel could use some TLC for sure, but that doesn’t stop the staff from being some great people. Thanks to Kim at the front desk for being so helpful!

“Pillows Flat as Pancakes”

The pillows were the worst I've ever seen. I mean, were those pillows or seats???!!! Flat as pancakes! Staff was super snotty. Responses were quick and short. They acted like the government was paying. Rude and classless. There were fecal and urine smells in the hallways. I have stayed at ... more

The pillows were the worst I've ever seen. I mean, were those pillows or seats???!!! Flat as pancakes! Staff was super snotty. Responses were quick and short. They acted like the government was paying. Rude and classless. There were fecal and urine smells in the hallways. I have stayed at this hotel before and I could swear based on the initial meeting at the front desk, this was NOT a Hilton hotel. The staff a few years back were always very professional. This staff is not professional. They need training.
