When we arrived, we were told the room wasn't quite ready and to return in half hour. We returned around 2 hours later and were given a key, but the room had not been serviced. We went back down and given another room key and that room wasn't serviced. Back down again and were asked to wait to see what was going on with housekeeping. After quite some time, we were finally back up to the cleaned room. I'm not sure why the front desk folks weren't aware of what housekeeping was doing. This not only happened to us, but two other parties as well. We were all family and there for a wedding so the row of rooms were all set for this occasion. In addition, there were only two sets of towels and we had four people (which is on the reservation). Our rooms were never serviced during the 3 night stay. Other than that, it was pretty much a no frills place. The front desk folks however were friendly, responsive and the only bright spot of the operation. I wouldn't return though. As for the cafe that is attached to the hotel, I'll save that review separately.

“It’s affordable”

We were placed at this hotel because the hotel down the street lost power. Seeing on a travel site that the rooms go for $168 per night, it would be overpriced for this hotel. We were placed at this hotel because the hotel down the street lost power. Seeing on a travel site that the rooms go for $168 per night, it would be overpriced for this hotel. Even a discounted price of $128 seems a little steep. The hotel is in a great neighborhood. If you want to stay in the Cherry Creek neighborhood at an affordable price, this is for you. The hotel seemed ok. I’ve seen comments about the staff but the guy at the front desk was pleasant. The hotel seemed fairly clean. The carpet in the hallways and in the room looked a little rough. It appears that the hotel went through some upgrades as there was granite countertops but didn’t complete the remodel. The hotel itself had a small slight scent. It wasn’t great. When we checked out in the morning all of the windows and the main door was open. I’m assuming that it was to get some fresh air in the lobby. I’d give it a 2.5 or 3 stars.
