“One hundred percent recommended”

Alternative area with art galleries. Free parking included, heated pool with spectacular views. Fantastic breakfast and room. The decoration of the hotel is a plus. The treatment of the reception and cleanliness are excellent. Highly recommended!

“First time in DFW. ”

Loved the hotel. Cool loft syle rooms. The rooftop bar was great for a nighttime beverage. Highlight of the stay was Timothy, the lobby bartender. We happily tried one of his innovative cocktails. Would definitely stay here again next trip to Dallas.

We were doing a short stay in Dallas just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. I was looking for a hotel that was not the run of the mill chain, and I love fun, funky, art oriented places so this seemed to fit the bill. It is definitely not your cookie cutter hotel experience. I loved the art, and the overall feel and vibe of the hotel. It’s in a very safe part of town, literally across the street from the police headquarters. The parking lot is small, but we were here during the week so had no issues. We were given a room on the fifth floor, and due to comments in prior reviews, I was nervous about that, and made a comment to the check-in desk about my concern regarding the noise from the rooftop bar, but they assured me that during the week it’s not a problem. I have to hand it to them, they were right, we had no issues with noise. My biggest issue, though, has to do with the height placement of items in the room. The television is a wall mount, which is fine, but it was hung very low in comparison to the bottom of the bed. Even just a foot higher up on the wall would make it easier to view. My biggest issue, however, was the bathroom sink. I am not an abnormally short woman, I am 5‘4“ tall, but the edge of the sink reached just a few inches short of my collarbone. I had to stand on my toes just to lean over the edge of the sink to brush my teeth. Trying to watch me wash my face was completely ridiculous. If they are going to place sinks at that high of a level, they need to provide stepstools so that we can get the proper angle, and not have water all over the place. My guess is that there was a miscommunication in the building of the bathrooms, because the countertop was at the right place for an undermount sink, not for a sink that protrudes five or 6 inches higher than the countertop. They also don’t have any towel bars, so when you’re done taking your shower and you have wet towels, there are no place to put them but one single hook on the wall, so they definitely need to do some rethinking regards to function of their bathrooms. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

“Cute but slightly unwelcoming”

Hotel was super cute and clean. The bar next door was loud at night but not the hotels fault or anything they can do about it. Hotel was super cute and clean. The bar next door was loud at night but not the hotels fault or anything they can do about it. The rooftop bar was absolutely beautiful and the Christmas themed cabanas were wonderful! Juan at the rooftop bar was awesome and super sweet!! I would say the bar downstairs and bartender was sub par. We were never able to get his attention for a beverage and it was not like it was busy. It defeats the purpose of having a bar at all in my opinion. That part of the stay just felt unwelcoming while on a vacation. Overall it was a nice hotel.
