Will is the man!!! 💯 I've stayed at a lot of hotels; I've lost count at this point, but I can say with complete confidence that Will is the most gracious and helpful person I've encountered at a hotel front desk. This man IS service 🙌 Every time I've had a request, he has been able to accommodate me. I love staying here and I can't help but smile when I walk into the lobby now. This hotel is a great spot to stay in Columbia, MD. I've stayed here several times for multiple days each time and its the best hotel experience I've come across. I have stayed at several other hotels in the area when Homewood Suites was full and the other spots were not as good. In addition to their previously mentioned superhero staff member at the front desk, I have a couple more kudos to give. Whoever maintains the pool, does a great job- it's much cleaner than other hotel pools I've used. I broke my ankle a few months back and since then, I've reluctantly used a lot of hotel pools to do my physical therapy. They also serve this delicious frittata at breakfast (or they used to… it hasn't been served the last two weeks I stayed there). I can't help but go for a second plate when its on the menu. I'm saying my prayers that they bring it back because it's much better than the standard scrambled eggs served at hotel breakfasts. Last things to note: they have laundry on site, the 24/7 workout room has a cable machine, free weights, and cardio options, and by the first floor restrooms, there is a water bottle filling station. I've found that a water bottle filling station is surprisingly rare at hotels, so it's a nice bonus. Last thing- stay here on Wednesday night if you're into an evening social with food and drinks 🥂😉

Very clean, well maintained property! Location is convenient to dining, shopping, gasoline and other services. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains worked well. The bountiful breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. Nice amenities including pool, fitness center, large laundry room with lots of machines, basketball court and well appointing patio with seating and bbq grill. Highly recommend! An absolute plus is the professional and friendly front desk staff member named Will. He is knowledgeable about the area and gave some good recommendations while providing service with a smile.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. It's in a good location near shopping and restaurants. Check in was easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. The addition of an in-room safe would be nice. We also appreciate that a bar of soap is provided for the shower as we have no desire to use the bottles of "goo." Standard housekeeping is every other day. We asked for daily housekeeping and it was provided. Breakfast is standard for Homewood. On the first morning, some items seemed to be a little scarce. For instance, there was no cream cheese for the bagels and the juice seemed a little weak. The second morning was much better. While the property is clean, there are some areas that need maintenance. For instance, neither of the elliptical machines in the gym worked property and neither tv was functioning. The display on the recumbent bike didn't work and some of the attachments for the cable machine were missing. I reported the problem and was told that the entire fitness center was in need of maintenance. Also, we tried to enter one of the side doors and our keys wouldn't work. We reported that and were told that the door never works. With some maintenance, this property could easily be 4 or 5 stars.
