It’s great location , rooms were large, the staff was very friendly - from check in , valet, breakfast. The hotel is dates and definitely needs some updating. Very close to Rocket Mortgage and Progressive Fields - and very close to restaurants on E 4th St. I would stay here again due to location - but prefer the Marriott closer to Browns Stadium. However for the price and ability to get a 2 bedroom suite- it was perfect for 2 couples to share the suite. Would not take Marriott much to update but keep in mind it’s an old building and only so much they can do. I do love the character of old buildings. I guess it depends on how much you like new vs a place to crash in the city. One other note and it’s for any Marriott not just this one- GET BETTET hair dryers and bigger print on the bottles in the shower. I may have washed my hair with body wash…..

“Huge room, slightly outdated”

The huge is enormous. Had more space than I needed as a solo traveler in town for a work meeting. Tried making coffee in the morning, and the coffee packets provided in the kitchen are for a single serve coffee maker, however the coffee maker is for a full pot of coffee… The lighting in the bath… more

The huge is enormous. Had more space than I needed as a solo traveler in town for a work meeting. Tried making coffee in the morning, and the coffee packets provided in the kitchen are for a single serve coffee maker, however the coffee maker is for a full pot of coffee… The lighting in the bathroom and sink area was very dim and in need of some updating. Location is convenient to many places in downtown Cleveland.

“Good older hotel for baseball game”

Ok, We chose this hotel entirely because of its location to the Cleveland Indian’s baseball team. Sorry they’ll always be the Indians to me. Ok, We chose this hotel entirely because of its location to the Cleveland Indian’s baseball team. Sorry they’ll always be the Indians to me. Location was excellent short walking distance very convenient to the baseball park. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrive to find a cool little outdoor area called fourth Street that was a series of outdoor bars and restaurants that were lighted and very convenient to the hotel less than a half a block away. Really fun venue. The casino is walking distance. The rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame is walking distance but be prepared for a pretty long walk. I would say approximately 30 to 45 minutes going to it which was mostly downhill. coming back was a little more work as it was uphill. Pros:really close to the baseball park. Safe walk at night. 4th st venue is really fun with several good restaurants and bars. Also valet parking at hotel. Cons: our bathroom might’ve been an exception but it was very very small. you could barely open the door to fit inside! it barely fit the shower and toilet. The rest of the room was very large surprisingly for downtown hotel. The only other con was it was somewhat dated and there is the occasional homeless person that you would expect in any downtown large city. Overall based on what we were going for which was the ball game I would recommend it to anyone
