We just returned from a 7 night stay here. This is our 2nd stay at the Hyatt. It won't be our last. We were here in 2019 celebrating our anniversary and came back 5 years later to celebrate our anniversary again. (Covid and family loss put a crimp in our travels) We could not imagine staying anywhere else in Florida. We love everything about the Hyatt Regency. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we had lunch at the Shor. (FYI we had fantastic breakfasts there also) Eric, manager was amazing. Antonio was our server and could not have been kinder or more attentive. Our lunch was delicious and such huge portions, we took leftovers. Thank you Antonio! Thank you so much Eric for your kindness and assistance that helped to make this trip even better than we anticipated. We had a welcome gift and anniversary card waiting in our beautiful suite. So grateful for the amazing upgrade. Thank you also to the front desk staff. Sorry did not get names, but truly every employee at the Hyatt is professional, welcoming and kind. Our view was gorgeous. We overlooked the pool and beach/ocean front. The beach is beautiful and pristine. Powdery white sand made for wonderful beach walks. It is just a very short walk to the beach, which is directly in front of the resort. Towels are provided for guests at the Hyatt. We preferred the pool which has plenty of lounge chairs. We never had to wait for one, despite plenty of people there. This was the most relaxing vacation we have had since our last visit to the Hyatt. Tropico restaurant/bar poolside is great. Delicious food and margaritas brought to our lounge chairs by friendly servers, really can't be beat. The hotel is pristine. We never waited more than a few seconds for an elevator. Laundry facilities are included in the resort fee. So appreciated not going home with laundry and the close proximity to our suite. We also received 4 bottles of water every day. There are other advantages to the resort fee. Well worth the charge in our opinion. I did not meet one unhappy fellow traveler at the Hyatt. It is a warm, welcoming and customer friendly resort. The Hyatt is just steps from Pier 60 and downtown shops. Surf Side is right next door with anything you need or might have forgotten. Publix super mkt is a mile away. We used UBER a couple times to stock our full kitchen. I can't say enough about the amazing suite we stayed in. Two balconies, beautiful bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the best housekeeping staff anywhere. Thank you to Daniella, Gloria and Maria. Unfortunately I didn't get the names of everyone who cleaned our suite, but suffice it to say they were amazing. Thank you to all who cleaned 1426! We came in from the pool every day to an imaculate suite, completely replenished. When a resort goes out of its way to make your stay everything you hoped your vacation would be, it deserves to be recognized. Thank you to everyone involved who made our anniversary celebration memorable. We can't wait to be back next year.
