I was provided with some exceptional service by entire hotel team during a very busy week at the hotel. Every time i reached out to the hotel tram with any concerns, the team took care of it immediately. I would like to give a shout out to "Pam" who managed the breakfast and went above and beyond to make my visit and every other customers visit special. She is amazing, Thank you Pam. I also want to give a shout out to the incredible and extremely efficient front desk team - Yolo, Arthur, Yuri, Jody thank you. I have had such an amazing experience.

“A perfect place for our family.”

Two grandparents (late 70s) w/ two grandchildren (8 and 13) for a 3 day/4 night adventure in Chicago. Hotel was GREAT, really GREAT. Breakfast was exceptional. Two grandparents (late 70s) w/ two grandchildren (8 and 13) for a 3 day/4 night adventure in Chicago. Hotel was GREAT, really GREAT. Breakfast was exceptional. Kids loved the pool and exercise facility. Staff (all of them) were very friendly and helpful. Location (Near North Side) was perfect for our purposes. Metro and bus were very close (w/in 2 blocks). More than ample restaurants nearby. One in the hotel. And . . . AND . . . the price was reasonable, very reasonable. Holy c**p!! Stay here.

The property is located in an area of the city that puts you close to food, transportation and entertainment. The front desk staff, Jody and Yuri were very nice and helpful whenever we had a question or small need. The breakfast crew were all friendly and diligent. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and everything in the room worked well. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in the city.

“River North Hotel”

Recently spent 3 days/2 nights here. The lobby has a very strong cologne smell, which I'm assuming they hope is welcoming, but I found it overwhelming and didn't really give me a good first impression. We had a king suite for 3 adults and 1 child. It was nice to have a separate bedroom and the pull out couch wasn't all that horrible to sleep on. We had a fridge and microwave, although our microwave didn't work. We told maintenance when he was in our room to fix TV issues and he did come back, late in the evening, but it was never resolved. It would have been nice since we had some leftovers for lunch the next day that would've been better heated up. The breakfast area was clean and the food was good. My 6 year old son was happy they had waffles and he could make hot chocolate (even though it was 90+ degrees outside). The pool area was ok. Unfortunately each time we went there was a large group of teens with loud music blaring, using the life rings to float around, and throwing cups of cold water from the drinking fountain at each other and leaving the cups in the pool. The pool is heated, which was nice. Things I wished that were disclosed included being told you needed to key in while in elevator to get up to your floor and that there is no housekeeping daily. Usually this is also posted in the room that housekeeping is not daily, but there was no signage. We were able to get more towels and washcloths from housekeeping. The valet service was appreciated as I didn't want to drive around looking for parking, but there is a lot a couple of blocks away. We did drive to museum campus and parking there was fine at Soldier Field. The overall location is good. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Wrigley building and that downtown river walk area. There are several restaurants within walking distance of hotel. We enjoyed Lou Malnati's first night and Harry Caray's the second. Overall, for my son's first Chicago experience, it was an ok place to stay. I had hoped to stay closer to Michigan Ave., but the Hilton there was full. If you want to be close to the river walk, boat tours, or head to Watertower place and John Hancock, then, this is your place.
