We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights from Jul 13-19th and from the very beginning we knew this was going to be a fantastic stay. There was no wait to check in. The person checking is in was so friendly and immediately thanked us for being Bonvoy members. He gave us all the relevant information regarding amenities, where and when breakfast was served and how to contact the front desk should we need anything. We were given a room on the 5th floor (room 505). We booked a King size suite that had a separate sitting area with a pull out couch. As others have mentioned it’s on the smaller side, but I have to say, all the furniture and placement is so well designed and thought out, it never ever felt cramped. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The air conditioning was too notch. The room doesn’t have a great view, but in the reviews a lot of people complained about street noise, where this room had none. In fact, we never once heard anyone else around us or above or below one time. We also visited during a time where there were major storms and tornadoes and we felt completely safe where we were located in the building. The rooms themselves were spotless and clean - we had the room cleaned twice and not only did they make the beds, but they completely changed the bedding with fresh sheets on both the king size bed and pull out. This is such a huge plus, as most hotels I have stayed at, just re make the bed. Fresh towels were also changed over. Both the king bed and pull out were incredibly comfortable. There was one small issue with the toilet leaking and when I brought it up with the front desk, someone was there immediately to fix it. I actually appreciate when there is a small issue at a hotel because you get to see how they respond to issues or complaints - in this case it was A+ service all around! The hotel provides free breakfast. Out of all of the hotels I have stayed at that provides a ‘continental style’ breakfast, this one was the best I have ever experienced. Whether we went for breakfast first thing, during the peak times, or the last 15 minutes, everything was completely stocked. There were boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, waffles (with ALL the fixings), yogurt, milk, oat milk, pastries (bagels, English muffins, bread) with the fixings (butter, jam, peanut butter), oat meal with all the fixings ( brown sugar, nuts, flax, dried fruits, nuts) , juice and coffee everyday. But they always changed it up a bit, with different proteins (sausage, bacon, soufflé, breakfast sandwiches). There were more than enough places to sit with and over flow area and the people working the breakfast were contests my walking around cleaning the stocking. The location to the hotel is so close to the Magnificent mile (1 block) and so close to the river, pier, loop - really a prime spot. I spend a lot of time researching hotels when I am planning any trip and I have to say, this is a hotel where you get SO MUCH bang for your buck. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

“Great Experience!”

The hotel was very clean and a great experience. This is a nice place to be at if you are on a business trip! Even with all of the microsoft outage issues, the front desk handled the tech glitches I had to the best of their abilities! All around would recommend to stay here.

location is perfect and right in the middle of everything. looks unassuming from outside but inside is quite comfortable. had a bit of problem with payment during check in but quickly sorted out. breakfast is nice. overall a good experience and will stay again next time!

Very good location accessible to all the main areas of Chicago downtown. Room was comfortable and well organized and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful especially the valet parking was bonus. bed was clean and comfortable Close to proximity to any food joints and shopping malls.
