“Amazing”

We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary, 1st time in Chattanooga and we loved our stay I give yhis Hotel 5 starts and we will definitely be back. Check out the Comedy catch it was so Great, and some fun Amenities all walking distance from Hotel.. Amazing Time

“Good location but musty smelling”

Pros: great location, very close to the downtown bars/restaurants. Historic hotel with cool decor. Staff was helpful, particularly Molly and Jitoria (sp?) Cons: the rooms in back hallway on both floors (the hotel forms an H) are very musty smelling, which was immediately noticeable upon walking... more

Pros: great location, very close to the downtown bars/restaurants. Historic hotel with cool decor. Staff was helpful, particularly Molly and Jitoria (sp?) Cons: the rooms in back hallway on both floors (the hotel forms an H) are very musty smelling, which was immediately noticeable upon walking in. They had to switch my rooms 3 times upon check in before we found a room that wasn’t musty. There is likely a mildew problem in that back hallway and they need to clean the drapes/carpet ASAP! For that reason, I would stay elsewhere next time I’m in Chattanooga, as it is not worth the risk of them running out of clean rooms upon check in.

Well ….. I was all ready to let out some steam … but Emily C has pretty much covered every thing I wanted to say!! Thank you Emily. Sometimes I wonder … is it just me? Nope! Clearly not. Her review was Sept 1st. We stayed on my birthday, Sept 5th. We let them know in advance. My 70th! You would think that might warrant something. But nope! My husband just summed it up nicely as we were driving. The staff is pleasant but not customer service oriented. It’s the entitled woke generation. They really don’t care if you come back or not. They have gotten to be 30 and never had to run a business. Their parents gave them too much. Sorry!!!! I’m off the track. lol. The place is beautiful, rooms are lovely. But they DO nickel and dime you to death. I asked about parking in advance. No one said it was $18.00. But there it was on my statement. And Emily is right again! Good luck actually getting a parking place. My husband also did some loops. If you’re starving - you’re in big trouble. Every snack in their “shop” was 3 or 4 times what it should be. We walked 2 blocks to a convenience store. Anyway - if you like paying 3-4 times what you would normally pay, and think $18.00 parking is cool, even though there may not be a spot in the actual lot, then you will like this place a lot. It’s very cute, but they DO need to adjust their attitudes and come off their high horse.
