OVERALL 3/5 AVERAGE As a Diamond member for multiple hotel chains and over 7,500 hotel stays in the last 45 years, due to traveling for business, it is my opinion that this hotel NEEDS A RENOVATION. It is obvious that the owners are investing as LITTLE as possible. Area 4/5 Basically a safe area but mostly medical offices nearby, with a few commercial shops/stores Staff 3/5 Nothing special to write home about Value 4/5 A Good price, but you aren't getting a lot for your money except a night at the hotel. Breakfast 2/5 A very tired selection, so out of date without out much of a selection. We have stayed at this hotel over 30 times this year, and we don't even eat the breakfast anymore. Safety 1/5 Except for the front desk near the front door, which usually is unmanned except for the busy hours, and the elevator is WIDE OPEN, without the need for a key card to access the floors. Support of Loyalty Members The few reserved parking spot aren't near the entrance, and the signs are hard to locate, because of the parking locations. SUMMARY The Choice hotel chain has AGED badly and most of their hotel are past their prime, with hotels we have stayed at needing help. This Hotel needs to get rid of their tired and dirty carpet, update access in the room with additional plugs and usb ports, update old and worn furniture and beds, as well as other work. The elevators, if both are actually working(most times only 1 was working) where making noises as well as the front sliding doors. $1 million plus renovation is needed in my opinion My wife is the main reason we stay here, because she will step over a dollar to save a nickel, but even she has had enough. We spend about $15-$20k a year on hotels, because of mostly business travel, and I prefer DRURY Hotels, which give the "BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK". All hotel chains need to keep renovating their hotels, ESPECIALLY Best Western, Choice etc, the 2nd tier chains, which sometimes you are force to stay at because of remote locations. HOTEL SUGGESTIONS There are some nice Hilton and Marriott hotels up in the PNC, now Lenovo Arena or up north by the 540 loop.

OVERALL 3/5 As a former "Road Warrior" traveling almost 40 years for business, with over 6,000 hotel stays and a Diamond member, I am very critical in my reviews. Staff ................4/5 Hit or Miss Location.........3/5 Close to some restaurants and shopping, but in a very commercial/medical office area, so you will need a car to go almost everywhere. Hotel................3/5 Maintenance needs, from entrance and elevator doors, with 1/2 elevators down again and the other hotel sounds like it will need work soon. Issues Elevators, Entrance door, Hallways being warm and Breakfast just average Room................3/5 Bathroom needs some work, from mold in shower, because it has title pattern ro a toilet that sits low for seniors and no fan in bathroom Furniture worn or with a tear Security..............3/5 No key needed for elevator access and I have never needed a key for the entrance, even after hours Would stay again, but it could really be a nice hotel if it was maintained properly
