“Decent, clean and our room had a full sized fridge w/freezer. Not all do,”
It served our needs for a 3 night stay. Some suites have full sized fridges which we wanted/needed the freezer space. Was like pulling teeth to get the room with the full sized but eventually the front desk allowed us to look at 2 rooms. one did and the other did not. Fairly safe location. Clean ... more

“Train ride”
My husband and I wanted to take the train ride from Carson City to Virginia City. We aren't big gamblers so didn't want to go the casino route. We also wanted a place with free breakfast. “Older hotel, quiet, clean”
We avoided Reno and went to Carson City. The hotel is an older place, but the room was clean. The bed was good. Breakfast was included and nothing special, basic. It was walking distance to other eateries, Capital building, and casinos.
