“Great customer service!”
La Quinta was there for us when our daughter and her cat needed to evacuate because of the fires in LA. Pamela at the front desk was so responsive and helped us extend her stay twice. We were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the family room we booked! It felt like two separate rooms: one with a king-size bed and another extension with double-decker beds, which my kids absolutely loved. The two spacious bathrooms were a huge bonus for a family. The bathroom cleanliness needs attention though. Considering the price, we didn’t expect reliable Wi-Fi in the room and free parking, but both were provided, which was a great value. The American breakfast might seem basic, but it had everything we needed to start the day. The location is strategically situated at the middle of the major attractions for kids and few minutes away from the major retail outlet in Carlsbad. The staff were nice and welcoming, making our stay smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended for families!

A good place to stay. Shower and tub need to be updated. Other than that it's good. Bed is comfortable, it's quite, We were not on freeway side of building. Breakfast was really good. I would stay here again. It is close to the freeway so easy on and easy off to get here.

“Will Return”
Some aspects of the room show wear & tear (e.g., crack in sink). Wish TV had closed captioning available. Fwy noise is obvious, and has a sort of a consistent white noise effect. Breakfast was yummy & filling. Staff were respectful, kind & courteous.

“Just What I Expected...Cleanliness!”
It's not a 5-star hotel/motel, but I wasn't looking for one. Just a nice, clean room to sleep overnight. Everything was clean. The TV and coffee maker worked. I have no complaints. I would recommend the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Carlsbad, CA, to anyone.
