“Top of the line staff and property.”
Stephanie at the front desk was exceptional. She did everything to accommodate us on our 10 year anniversary. Kevin the bellman was also very nice and pleasant. “Not really a resort”
I wouldn’t really consider this property a resort. It’s a Hilton hotel with an outdoor pool situated within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean but also located in a residential neighborhood. “Short trip to Carlsbad with wife and brother in law to enjoy the ocean for a few days”
Overall nice experience. However, the carpeting in our room had some stains on it. I told Michele who reached out to me during our stay to see how it was going. However, she did not respond. A little disappointed no response from her after that.

“Hate the nickle and diming”
This hotel is OK but I really hate the nickel and diming that they do. I am already paying a pricy room rate so why it is necessary to charge a $35 a day “resort” fee to use the pool and towels?
