I'd like to start my review with the cost. It's not cheap to stay here, but you are ocean front on three sides with many rooms facing the ocean. We were in a suite - which was actually the size of a normal size hotel room. The regular rooms are quite small at this hotel. I got a suite because we brought our two dogs. Having a door that goes right outside to the walking path made it very easy to have the dogs with us, so if you are bringing your dog, be sure to get a room on the ground level with access directly to the walking paths. You'll appreciate this in the mornings or in the middle of the night if they have to go out :). We had breakfast at the hotel each morning (3 mornings), and they had a decent buffet which i enjoyed. They have an excellent pool that has a full bar along with food and club dance music. I loved the pool. We went there on two of the days we were there. My favorite part of the hotel was the view from our private deck at night. When we got back to the hotel at night, I sat outside on each of the three nights on the chairs that are on each of the private decks. I loved this. We had a view of the tower in the distance and the entire harbor. It was magical and it was my favorite part of the stay. The hotel itself is pretty neat. They have these incredible historical murals all over the hotel hallways along with interesting artifacts throughout. The hotel is at the end of commercial street (actually the beginning), so it's kind of a hike to downtown, but bring your most comfortable sneakers and it will be fine. We brought our bicycles and that was just perfect. A quick bike ride downtown for the day, and a quick bike ride back. Now the negatives - the bathroom was very small. Tiny even and sort of uncomfortable. The furniture in our room was ok, but nothing special. A small desk, small table with two chairs and a tiny (and i mean tiny) sofa. All in all, it was ok. The bed was super comfortable and the housekeeping ladies were super nice. At one point, we came back with the dogs and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. I saw her in the hallway and asked her if she could do the room while we had the dogs outside on the deck and she gladly agreed and came right over and cleaned the room. That's just super nice service in my opinion. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Parking was very convenient. The parking lot is inside the main triangle of rooms, so more than likely you can get a parking spot right next to your room. Back to the cost. This place is not cheap, but, the pool is awesome, the grounds are beautiful, and the view is amazing. My advice to you is to spend the extra money and get a suite. Take many pictures when you are there. I wish I took more.

“Somewhat disappointed”

Had a girls trip & spent a night at the Provincetown Inn. The customer service was fine but I was a little disappointed in the cleaniness of the bathroom in our room. And the room looked bigger in the pictures. They don't have a continental breakfast but they do have a breakfast buffet for $21.0… more

Had a girls trip & spent a night at the Provincetown Inn. The customer service was fine but I was a little disappointed in the cleaniness of the bathroom in our room. And the room looked bigger in the pictures. They don't have a continental breakfast but they do have a breakfast buffet for $21.00 each. Not sure if I would stay there again.

I love the location of this hotel at the far end of Commercial Street. Very quiet area yet close to the pier. I stayed in one of the King rooms that look out toward the lighthouses. The floor was covered in linoleum but the floor was solid (my last stay you could actually feel the floor giving under you.) The room was nothing special as far as furnishings. There was a small three legged table that tipped every time you leaned on it. Two straight back chairs. The bathroom was really tiny with no vanity area or even a towel rack for the hand towel. When you sit on the toilet, your arm is resting on the toilet paper holder. The only really good thing was the private deck and water view. The room was freezing, no heat. I had to sleep in my clothes and sweat shirt. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the best I've seen in any my hotel stays. Housekeeping was horrible. When I arrived in the early evening the door to the room next to mine was wide open, bed stripped like they were ready to leave for the day and just left. There was food left in the refrigerator in my room from a previous guest. I discovered as I was getting in the tub that there were no wash cloths in the room. Also no bath mat. As I was going out later that morning I saw the housekeepers and asked if I could get 2 washcloths and another hand towel. They said they would bring them down. I waited a few minutes and went back since I wanted to leave and had to ask again for the items. The hand towels were frayed and so thin that if you dried your hands twice, the towel was soaked. There was a coffee maker but it was tucked into a small alcove of the dresser making it nearly impossible to get water in the top. They gave key cards for both the outside door that led to a hall to the room and the room door. The outside didn't close so you could just pull it open. The cards for the room had to be used 4 or 5 times before it would open the door.
