I just stayed Marriott Boulder twice during a long trip to/around Colorado and was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very friendly, my suite had a comfy bed, nice windows that opened and I appreciate that the hotel has a club lounge for those eligible (they're becoming less common these days). I would suggest having more non-red meat evening dishes in the lounge as most days seemed to be beef or pork. I really liked that the hotel has a guest laundry room which is perfect for longer stays. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and a beautiful outdoor shopping center plus not far from the Pearl street pedestrian area which could be considered downtown Boulder. My Marriott titanium benefits were honoured and the manager David greeted me by my last name daily which was nice touch. I've stayed at several hotels in Boulder and this one is my top choice for next time!

“Really nice hotel”

I had to combine two reservations (one for work and one for vacation) and they took care of it easily for me. The hotel has nice area in front of the hotel to watch the fire and have a drink. I had to combine two reservations (one for work and one for vacation) and they took care of it easily for me. The hotel has nice area in front of the hotel to watch the fire and have a drink. Friendly bar tender. I think the strongest point for me was the room itself. I don’t know all the details but it appears the renovated the rooms recently and they nailed it. My room was consistent with a four star Marriott. Everything felt clean, prefer the no carpet modern style floor and just all the fixtures appeared new. It wasn’t cheep this Saturday night - it was sold out too - but this is last night of my two night stay and I am very pleased. You will be too.

“Nice but Poorly Ran or Staff Shortages”

Hotel was nice and conviniently locate, and the room was well appointed and nicely laid out, but I was disappointed in the service. I showed up for a 4pm checkin only to be told my room wasn't ready which meant I couldn't settle into my room before my dinner plans. The room ended up beng ready at 5:30 after I had left. Then my room was not serviced for 2 days straight. The first time I just asked for more coffee and water at the front desk, but the second time I needed my trash to be taken out after having take out dinner the night before. These are not things I expect to have to deal with staying somewhere at this price point. My next visit I will stay someone similarly located but where the price better matches the quality of service.

From June 17th to 20th, my son and I stayed at the Boulder Marriott while he attended a University of Boulder Specialist Camp. We had booked a room with two queen beds, shelling out approximately $1100 for three nights. The room itself was spacious, equipped with basic amenities like free Wi-Fi and a coffee maker. However, the overall value didn’t quite measure up to the price tag. Our stay included access to the M-Club, which promised an array of perks. Unfortunately, the breakfast provided was lackluster and disappointingly average. We were informed that the Club would offer snacks throughout the day, but this turned out to be a false promise. Moreover, the breakfast options were quite limited, lacking choices for those who avoid pork or ham, and even for vegetarians. An additional frustration was the unavailability of A La Carte options at the restaurant for breakfast due to staffing shortages. The restaurant was closed in the morning which we were not aware of until our first morning. It left us feeling particularly let down. The hotel’s location, though, was a redeeming factor. It was a convenient 20-minute walk to Pearl Street and also close to Flatiron Coffee, where I spent some time working. Given the high costs associated with transportation, we opted not to rent a car—Lyft rides from Denver airport were about $80 each way, and parking at the hotel was an extra $$ per night. Ultimately, the stay was underwhelming for the price we paid. The Boulder Marriott, while conveniently located, fell short in several areas, making it a mediocre experience. For the cost, I would consider other options in the future.
