“Great stay at the holiday inn.”

Hotel is lovely inside and so close to Logan airport. It’s quiet and only a 5 minute walk to the nearby T station, where you can get a direct train to downtown Boston in about 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Really had a good experience- staff excellent/accommodating, clean, comfy bed, smallish room but fine for needs and length of stay. breakfast was more than adequate w many selections. The airport hotel shuttle was $10 a trip and def worth it. 4 stars only because of location but that's a traveler's choice. There's a large mall (south bay) within very short walking distance. We ubered everywhere which took approximately 20-40 min depending upon traffic. It was no problem- and still less expensive and quieter than a downtown hotel. (The H I wasn't inexpensive so you can imagine costs for other hotels closer to boston center. At least we also had breakfast included and inexpensive a p rides) The T was not an option for us since one needs to do quite a walk, cross the highway bridge to the andrews stop. Waste of time and effort in my view. All told - suited our purposes very well.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express located in Boston for 2 nights (Sep 05 – 07) before going on a cruise. When we arrived in Boston, we were able to call from the airport to the hotel & a shuttle (fee involved) was sent promptly to pick us up. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in & were able to arrange a shuttle (fee involved) on our check out day to the Flynn cruise port. We chose this hotel based on its close proximity to the Flynn cruise port as we were concerned about the traffic delays & construction we had read about. At that point, we were assured that transportation to the port did not take very long so we were confident about choosing this hotel. (Note: on our departure day, our shuttle to the port was efficient & we arrived there in a timely manner.) Front staff were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable with any directions or questions we had during our stay. In order to get up to our room, the room key always had to be used to access the selected elevator floor. We liked this safety measure that was in place. Our room was a standard room complete with a bar fridge, microwave, in-room coffee maker & safe. It was clean, air conditioner, shower, internet, etc. all worked fine. The small buffet breakfast that was included each morning was adequate with enough variety & there was lots of seating available. At the front lobby, the sliding entranced doors were locked but would unlock after waving our room key. There were also security monitors at the front desk which captured the outside areas. This hotel is ideally located, about a 5 minutes walk thru the parking lot to a shopping/restaurant (mainly fast food) area. Shops include a Home Depot & a Target where we conveniently purchased items for a minor suitcase repair & water for the room. A bus stop is also located in front of one of the stores here. There is a bus depot located a couple of blocks from the hotel which could be used to get around the city. However, as our weather was good, we opted to walk every where we wanted to go as there were good sidewalks. During our short stay in this area, we were never out at night but felt safe walking during the day although there were some homeless people in the various areas. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel if we did another cruise from the Boston Flynn cruise port.
