We really enjoyed our time in Boston! The rooms and common areas were clean and spacious. Parking was easy and close in the garage across the street. The cost of $25 per day (with in/out privileges) was low compared to other garages we saw in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of our questions. One staff member took the time to help us understand the city bus system and which bus to take to get to our destination. The shuttle pick up offered by the hotel was easy to use and the driver was great! The location is not the best area of Boston (we opted for food delivery rather than walking to a restaurant at night), but other than that we had a great stay and would consider this hotel again in the future.

Front desk employees were great except 1 girl. Upon checkin after 6 hours of traveling. i asked if my husband could have a water.. She refused him one.. He is extremely ill weeks to live.. He is a member but she couldn't find his account.. I've been a members for years but she still refused him a water since the reservation was in his name. Staying a week and I'm regretting it. Everytime I have had to deal with her she is very distant and snarky. Dont get me wrong the other lady is amazing.. Homewood suites here I come. There is no shuttle service to and from the airport.

The Hotel itself was just okay. The Beds were comfortable and the room we had with two queens was spacious but the cleanliness of the rooms was not up to speed. Hairs were on the bathroom floor and in the shower and the toilet was not comfortably clean. The location would have been good if not for the adjacency of a near by homeless shelter that drew lots of homeless on the sides of the hotel and directly across the street. It was constantly noisy as it shares a wall with a large hospital and shares and driveway that hosted a number of police cars and ambulances all night long. If you are staying at the hotel bc you have family at the hospital, it may be an okay choice, just bring earplugs and be aware of the before mentioned homeless situation. I will say that at no time did I feel security was a risk. The front desk was professional and helpful and security was right inside the door. The airport is a short 10-15 minute UBER ride at a cost of about $25 at noon. The Silver Line Bus is very close to the hotel that is about a 20 minute ride to South Station and will connect you to all public transport and trains. Back Bay and Fenway were a 10 minute ride as well.

We arrived late on a Saturday night having walked from the local bus stop. The immediate impression was that the area was extremely run down with a lot of homeless people and drug users milling around the area, especially in the vicinity of the hotel. It was quite unnerving to say the least. Check in was a seamless exercise with a pleasant member of reception staff who let us know about the hotel’s facilities. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good hot drinks making facilities and a nice view to the south of Boston. The only issue is noise as the hotel is next to a hospital and there are sirens all night and there is a helipad near the hotel. The general traffic noise is also evident all night. There was a lovely sunrise to see each morning. The breakfast was excellent with some lovely Strawberry or vanilla waffles as well as the usual cereals, pastries and hot choices which seemed to rotate every day. The breakfast area is nice and the staff were attentive and really lovely. Through the day the area is much better and there is less feeling of it being unsafe although the sheer amount of litter left around the area is disgusting (not the hotel’s fault obviously). We did see a street sweeper one morning tidying the area up. One big problem is the distance from the Subway, a minimum 15 minute walk to Massachusetts Avenue station. This would be fine if it wasn’t for the area after dark. At 5pm it felt threatening. Sadly after a Celtics game on the Monday night we were walking back to the hotel from the Subway after 11pm and due to feeling very uncomfortable with the people around we decided that as we would be out for our Wedding Anniversary the following night and we want to go out at night we’d book another hotel in another area for the remainder of our stay which turned out to be the right choice. We explained to the staff that it wasn’t the hotel but the area and if we could pick the hotel and its staff up and move it to a nicer area then we would be giving the hotel 5 stars. The receptionist understood and I suspect they get this happening quite a lot. Basically if you don’t have to walk around the area at night and are ok sleeping through the sirens and helicopters then you should be fine here. If not then I regretfully wouldn’t be able to recommend this hotel as lovely as it and its staff are.
