“Layover”
Our flight got delayed and we ended up staying here with our Delta Vouchers. It was great. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful with the voucher situation and got us checked in quickly. We had a great late night meal in the restaurant which is open till 1 am. That was great!

“Great Stay”
Super welcoming !!! The staff is friendly and the location is great, we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place. The rooms are great super comfy beds!!! Also loved that the rooms were clean and we all felt comfortable here.

“Great MSP Airport Property!”
Just a great property, I stayed here several times throughout Summer 2024. Prompt shuttle to and from MSP Airport, quick and professional check in. Rooms are in good shape, clean, tasteful amenities. Pretty good food. Comfy beds! Walking distance to Mall of America.

I enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. The staff, at the front desk and the shuttle drivers, were all professional and friendly. They were all excellent representatives of the hotel. The hotel was clean, the fitness center was excellent, and Wi-Fi was fast and stable. I didn't eat at the restaurant. My upgraded suite was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable, although some of the furnishings needed to be updated. The airport shuttle was convenient and reliable. The shuttles, one to Terminal 1 and the other to Terminal 2, both departed right on time for an early morning flight. As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is older. According to one source, it was built more than 50 years ago, so its architecture reflects the preferences of the time. The hallways are long, and the ceilings are low, the bathroom in my upgraded suite was tiny by modern hotel standards. Would this hotel be built the same way today, no; but given these constraints, the hotel was comfortable and reasonably quiet for one so close to MSP airport. There are lots of hotels in the same area and the Doubletree is about 2 blocks from the Mall of America--an easy 3-minute walk. In addition to be a shopping, entertainment, and dining location, the Mall is also a transit hub, so you are only a few minutes from a light-rail station and many buses to take you to sports events, museums, and other attractions in the Twin Cities. The DoubleTree was good value and should be one of the hotels you consider staying at near MSP. I have stayed at several and would again consider this DoubleTree.

“Close to the airport”
I had an overnight stay here due to a flight cancellation with Delta(July 21 - July 22). Delta covered my stay and gave me a meal voucher. I had an overnight stay here due to a flight cancellation with Delta(July 21 - July 22). Delta covered my stay and gave me a meal voucher. I only had to pay $50 accidental fee that was refunded back to me. This hotel is huge(you can literally get lost), it has pool and an onsite restaurant that serves American cuisine. The hotel is located right across the street from the Mall of America, the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the mall and the airport. The restaurant did not accept my meal voucher so I had to pay for my meal and get reimbursed at the front desk. I was never offered a free cookie, I had to ask for it and they only had gluten free cookies available. My room was very spacious and fairly clean except for the rust in the bathroom sink and tub. I haven't decided if I will return in the future.
