We stayed 3 nights in a suite overlooking the traintracks. The room was elegant and clean. Our host, Shannon, was extremely responsive and assisted with check in/out and dinner reservations. The hotel and mall are child friendly and you can take children into the foodcourt, diner, or Urban Table. The casino floor is Vegas size with a large variety of slots and table games. Only negative is the pool is currently under renovation.

“Fun, Relaxing Resort”

I've been to Wind Creek twice; once for a wedding and to stay, and I'm looking forward to returning for more stays. The Wind Creek resort is comprised of a hotel, restaurants, a food court, a casino, spa, and outlets. So there is a lot to do. My cousin had her wedding reception here and it was beautiful. Drinks and appetizers were great; the main course was somewhat inedible, so they can improve on that. This was on a Saturday and the place was very busy. We recently stayed here for an overnight and it was mostly great. Front desk staff were friendly, however, we did request extra pillows, and those never showed, so that could be better. Also, the tub in the suite needed cleaning, though everything else was very clean, so maybe they just forgot. But I wasn't happy about having to clean it myself. The bed was super comfortable. We didn't want to leave. And the suite itself was spacious. Drinks at The Mixx, which is their lobby bar, were great. Cindy is a fun bartender. We enjoyed some appetizers from the food court. My partner enjoys the casino. I'm looking forward to checking out the spa on my next visit, and we will probably eat at one of their full-service restaurants as well. The Wind Creek has excellent, easy parking, which is appreciated. And it's close enough to downtown Bethlehem that you could walk. And if you wanted a longer walk, you could also walk into historic Bethlehem, so the location is great. It's a nice option in the Lehigh Valley.

WC has an app that you can play games thru and gather "sapphires" which you can then use to purchase free play. 1. wastes my time 2. They limit how many gems you can collect at any one time, thereby limiting your ability to get add'l free play. No options for a free room. There is an option to purchase a $10 off coupon. [yawn]. Theres no review for loose or tight slots as that is not something that any casino can nor does control. They can simply NOT access the logic box of any game that is under the gaming commission control, which means all of them. Casinos cannot open that area of a slot machine at all,they don't have the keys to do so. Keys are kept by the gaming commission. All of that being said, I personally win more at Mt Airy. This may be something as simple as a native vs non-native owned casino. Both are under gaming commission control but native casinos have more stringent rules. Also, the player payback may be simply set lower in WC than it is in Mt Airy. Either way, no casino can manipulate a machine and payback %. That's set at the manufacturer. WC seems to have more options for food and shopping. That being said, most of the "shopping mall" is empty storefronts. I will say that WC has wayyyy more machines on the floor and has a fairly sizable non smoking section. Mt Airy does have non smoking areas but, if there are a lot of smokers playing, the non smoking area is easily overcome. And, Mt Airy allows cigar smoking on the floor - and stinky garbage cigars too. Myself and the woman next to me were turning green as some bloke choked down the worst smelling cigar I've ever had the displeasure... I believe that WC has signs disallowing cigar smoking. I'm going to stick with Mt Airy. They treat me, as a player, much better in their give-back policy and THEO calculation. I may visit WC now and then when im meeting friends, but that's likely the extent of it. My level of play should certainly warrant more than $15 free play, and Mt Airy recognizes that and rewards me for the time and money I spend with them. I may now and then take the 45 minute drive to WC after I spend my cash at Mt Airy, IF I have a better free play offer waiting for me. Outside of that, I'm okay driving the same distance to get back home. Remember - don't gamble with money that you need for paying bills!
