What a great stay! Marriott has an image of higher end hotels. This hotel embodies that. Granted, it may not have been the easiest hotel to find, but it wasn't overly difficult. Check in was a bit of a challenge thanks to the major computer outage, but the very nice young lady Ana Gomez walked us through their work around. Even with that delay, check-in went as well as could be expected. The rest of the staff we encountered was just as friendly and helpful. The hotel was great. The grounds, lobby and rooms were clean and well maintained. We were there on a week long MINI Cooper Rally that ended in Seattle, and being a car guy, I liked the parking garage, though the spaces are pretty small. Even though we were in downtown, the hotel was quiet enough to offer a very good nights sleep. Not sure if I'll ever be in Seattle again, but if I am, I'll certainly stay at this location. Thanks for a great stay.

“Bad Customer Service”

Residence inn 🤔 I am giving a three star overall and one in service because the customer service sucks! 1. The room cleaning is once every other day. That does not include a full cleaning, just your bed and new towels. My dishes were left on the sink for four days until I did them, and not only one time, two times. I called the front desk and they were very breeze telling me that they don’t do them every other day. I have stayed in other Residences Inn that are not even this expensive and they do it daily if you requested. Besides, who care about your bed done when you have dirty dishes making the tiny room smell funky ? 2. My room card expired every other day and I went to tell the front desk about this issue since I was staying there for 15 days. Her answer was, “well at least we got to know you better”.Really ?? I came from work so tired to get to my room and the red light of my room comes out and have to go back to the front desk again ? What kind of customer or no customer service is this ? 3- The internet does not work very good specially on the lower rooms. Pick the upper floor. I stayed for 15 days and I always had issues with their WiFi. I had to used my personal spot. 4- Maintenance people will come randomly knocking on the door to check my fridge and something inside my room. 5 I asked if they had a scale at the front desk or something to weight the bags. The front desk said that she will call me back because they had one but she could not find it. After 30 minutes, I called back because they have not and she said that she could not find it and probably is at a customers’ room. I asked her if they had a log to whom they borrowed it and her answer was “ unfortunately not. We don’t have any”. For the third time I asked if she had another type of scale like a restroom scale in other rooms or anything. Finally, after I made her so many questions and got her considering, she said “there’s a scale in the gym if you would like to go” Finally an answer! 6 - I asked if they had a lost and found for something simple o lost. The front desk said they will call me back to contact the house keeping manager. They didn’t call me back. I called twice to check on that and the front desk said that the manager did not call back, which it meant that the manager didn’t find anything. Very tiny kitchen and not enough pans and containers. Containers do not have lids at all. I asked for the lids of the Pyrex and the front desk said that they do no have any ? 🤷🏽‍♀️. I think it’s weird since all the Pyrex come with colorful lids

“Good hotel, but poor customer-centric attitude...”

I stayed at Residence Inn on a business trip. The property was good in the sense that they had amenities like self-laundry, 24x7 refrigerated food items, and a decent breakfast. The room was good with a mini kitchen complete with utensils, dishwasher, etc. The TV was revolvable, so you could watch it either from the couch or your bed. The bathroom had a bath tub. Now, the downsides. I did do self-laundry but since it was the first time I was trying, I struggled a bit and there was no help available. Similarly, there was absolutely nobody to help with multiple luggage bags that I was carrying, which was a struggle especially during checkout as it was getting late. Additionally, apparently the door lock developed issues and every time I had to re-enter the room, I had to contact the reception who would send a staff member, who would then use the master card to open it. To worsen the situation, I was first asked to personally go to the reception every time to authenticate myself before the staff member could be sent to open the door, to which I resisted. This was quite frustrating and honestly, ruined the positive experience I had developed. There was no permanent solution provided for the issue. Overall, from a service standpoint, I was quite disappointed. You can skip this one. I am sure there are other hotels in the area with better staff and customer-friendly attitude.
