It has been many years since we stayed at this particular location, the price drew us back for our September weekend stay. The location is wonderful: just off the I-405 freeway, easy access via SE 8th. Very close to Bellevue Square and many restaurants and shops. Our room was on the reserve side so you could see a lot of green space. The noise from the roads and freeway was minimal. The one bedroom king suite we got was very clean and spacious. Probably bigger than a lot of one room rentals in Bellevue! All the amenities you will need, whether short or long term stay. The front desk staff was outstanding, very friendly and always engaging. Breakfast area could be set up a little bit better. Sometimes the line for getting plates and utensils collided with the waffle line. People were cutting in front without realizing it. Typical complimentary breakfast fares, note that no sausage or bacon but you do get gravy and biscuits. We enjoyed the fresh fruits available, as well as a nice set up for oatmeal. There is an adjacent parking garage, covered area spaces are extremely small. Upper level does have larger spaces. $16 per night during our stay, probably the going rate. Parking was waived for us (unsure if it was our elite status, or not) That was a pleasant surprise.

“Convenient, Clean and Affordable Option for 1 & 2 Bedroom Suites!”

I recently stayed at this Residence Inn while visiting the Seattle area with my mom in July 2024. Our criteria picking a hotel was a room with at least one separate bedroom so we both had our own space, a full kitchen since we like to make our own meals, somewhat affordable, and in the Bellevue / Eastside area. We chose this hotel and we were both INCREDIBLY happy with our stay here. We definitely hope to stay here again on our next trip. Below are a few highlights of why we enjoyed our stay that may be helpful to other travelers: * 2-Bedroom Suite: We had the two-bedroom “loft” suite. (Please see attached pictures). The room was two floors… the first floor has a kitchen, living room and a bedroom with an attached (private) bathroom. Upstairs is the second “bedroom”, which is a loft that is open to the living room below, but still very private. That bedroom also has a large vanity area and bathroom. This layout was PERFECT for our needs—we both had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend this room for families with children, friends travelling together, or multi-generational families travelling together. * Price: We booked this room several months in advance using a AAA discount rate and we ended up paying less than $300/night for our room! For a two-bedroom suite (which are not easy to find in most hotels) that’s an incredible value. The Residence Inn in South Bellevue was asking over $600/night for a two-bedroom suite those same dates! * Cleanliness: Despite the hotel being an older property, our room was EXTREMELY clean and well-kept. The furniture and linens were in excellent condition and when we first got into the room it smelled nice and fresh. The housekeeper even left a welcome note, which was a nice touch! The bathroom was very clean and every room had been thoroughly vacuumed and the surfaces sanitized. I stay at dozens of hotels a year for work and most properties only clean the most high-trafficked parts of a room. I was very impressed by the Residence Inn Bellevue’s attention to detail in cleaning the rooms. * Outdoor Access: I know some reviewers complained about the hotel rooms being open to outside (no interior hallways), more like an apartment complex. However, we actually really liked the layout. The rooms are in a series of buildings connected by walkways and stairs. We LOVE the Pacific Northwest and its trees and plants, so visiting in summer we really enjoyed walking right out our room and seeing big trees, gardens and flowers. The property was very well taken care of. The layout of the property also makes the rooms more private and (in our experience) quiet. You don’t have to worry about loud people running through the hallways late at night waking you up like in many hotels. I saw some other reviewers mention noise but we never had issues with noise in our room. * Convenient Location: The hotel is in the “BellRed” (Bellevue/Redmond) area of northeast Bellevue right near the border with Redmond. Its walking distance to the new LINK light rail station and about a 2-minute drive to a Fred Meyer and several large shopping centers with plenty of food and grocery options. The hotel is also easily accessible from the 520 highway, and it was very convenient going to and from the hotel during our stay. Hope this helps others make a decision to stay here! I don’t often leave reviews but my mom and I were very happy with our stay and I look forward to staying there on our next family trip to the Seattle area. “Wish we would have stayed longer”

Beautiful hotel conveniently located in Bellevue five minutes away from Bellevue Square. Free breakfast and pool, sadly no hot tub. “Calm and peaceful stay”

We stayed here for one night after flying into Seattle and before continuing our trip to the next destination. The service at the front desk was very friendly and attentive, and we felt that our studio was particularly clean and convenient for what we were looking for. The breakfast also perfectly met our needs, even with some special dietaey requirements to account for. The only minus was that the AC in our room wasn’t working, but this was completely manageable when we visited. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again when visiting Seattle
