If you have a family and want an incredible experience. Weather it rains or shine kids will be happy. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, heated outdoor pools. Hot tubs, adult pools, fitness center. Now if you come in summer all for you. If you come in winter just indoor pool indoor hot tub and out door heated pool. It’s perfect. Storyland 1 mile away. Leave the park come home order pizza at kringles, pick it up go home eat then go on down to the pools. Makes life so much easier then having to drive for ever to get there and get home. So much to do here. This is my second trip and I look for more years here. I don’t know how people give this 1 star. These people have no clue. Vacation is vac you make the memories regardless of the weather or situation your in. 5 stars hands down. There front desk is for you 24-7 if you have needs after 10 emergency needs. Don’t wait. Book here today. You won’t be dissapointed. Cooked steaks on grill at the game room and brought it back, cooked steaks on grate behind my place. Just a great time here.

“With son and grandson”

We love the service and kindness from Tatyana, Nancy, Cathy and Rhonda. The room was beautiful and amenities just right. We plan on coming back. Loved the pool too! Great time with family. I plan on coming back with my wife in two months. Great place for families with kids.

“Disappointing”

My husband and I have been going here since 1997 and it was always top notch. The last 2 years not so much. Rooms are very outdated and not in great shape. One pool was broken and the other 2 were quite dirty. Condo was just redone and it looked like it still needed to be re done. Room was dirty… more

My husband and I have been going here since 1997 and it was always top notch. The last 2 years not so much. Rooms are very outdated and not in great shape. One pool was broken and the other 2 were quite dirty. Condo was just redone and it looked like it still needed to be re done. Room was dirty and unfinished. Wouldn’t be so bad except it’s 800.00 for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back.

So, we all know that people’s tolerances and sensitivity for things affect their opinions and preferences. Foods, wines, cheeses, chocolates, cars, music, other people, excursions…all can be affected by past experiences and expectations. fair enough, the old saying, no accounting for taste,…and there are normal individual differences. Subject opinions. But the negative reviews here are about aspects that need to be fixed…, not just the butter wasn’t warm enough on my muffin. I’ve come her off and on over 30 years, mostly in the Fall. It has deteriorated in a weathered kind of way. The phrase would be: many of the units are Monets…looks good from a distance. Nice setting in the mountainous terrain, looking at the other mountains. The indoeer and outdoor recreation areas are fun. The pools and jacuzzis are fun and if you have kids you know how they like that….if you dont have or don’t like kids might be like too g rated for you and use the heated outdoor units( sat in one with a glass of wine and big fat snow flakes slowly coming down to land on my face…ethereal.) It is close to eateries and you can cook in the full kitchens in the units. The area is changing. At night the view from your balcony used to be out to nearly pitch black landscapes and massive starfields overhead…easy to see because of low light pollution. Now more and more people have built houses on the Mountain sides, at night the lights look like subdivisions. So many things that are fun and entertaining. This could be a day pass. Then it is back to the unit, and you notice, many spots where the roads needs repaving. Where paint is on the unit, it needs repainting. Because most of the exterior is untreated wood, it needs repair and replacement. The landscaping clearly was nice open space, but planting a have died, the grassed areas have become uneven from freeze -thaw cycles, and piles of repair materials are out uncovered near the units. Inside the bathtub, jacuzzi, and showers need updating. And cleaning to remove mold and mildew spots. Furniture is fabric and floors are carpeted. Carpets need deep cleaning because renters track in dirt when they don’t take of shoes at a the door. Fabric furniture needs deep steam cleaning. The style of heavy light oak wood, an indoor rustic was popular 25 years but looks dated now and even more so when it is dirty and rundown. So, the above is just pure observation of the star of things.. these might not matter if the entertainment is there for the kids. But if cleanliness and the state of appearances mean something to you, then don’t ignore the minority reviews that give a 1 or 2 star.. I have no affiliation with the place, nor axe to grind. I would like to see them return to what they were years ago.
