“Friendly Staff ”

The staff was amazing, friendly and full of energy. The hotel doesn't nickel and time you with outrageous parking fees which is rare in the Buckhead area. Great location to restaurant and to the interstate. Will stay at this location again soon.

“Average”

We are Hampton Inn regulars, so to find one that is not up to snuff is unusual. Public areas are cramped, getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare. Another property is a block away and lots of people get confused about which one has their reservation.

“Not great”

We stayed here for 7 days during a baseball tournament. We travel a lot of for summer baseball and usually try to stay in Hamptons. Overall, it was an okay stay, although we would not stay here again. The location was central but for us was very difficult to get out of because all the GPS’ had us turning left and it was not an easy left to make. They do charge for parking and they had outdoor parking and covered parking as well. The room was smaller than a regular room. It did have a small refrigerator and microwave which was good. The fitness center was small but had 1 treadmill, an elliptical and a stationary bike. It did not have weights but it did have a cable machine. If more than 1 family is in there, it does feel crowded. The breakfast was not good. Food was often cold and the young lady on duty has got to be the rudest person I have ever encountered. There was a day that was particularly horrible-we were waiting for the waffle maker. There was only 1 working because she said the other one was broken. There were about 2 other families waiting as well. Someone asked about the non-stick spray for the waffle maker because they didn’t see it. The breakfast manager went off on a very rude tirade-yelling that “no, there’s no spray because you all put water in it and it messed up the machine!” Followed by her talking under her breath and saying very nasty things such as-“you all never had waffles before, whats the big deal, once that batter is done you ain’t getting any more waffles, they break everything, just don’t eat,” etc. And finally, when the family in front of us asked her for help because their waffles got stuck-she comes in screaming-“that’s it! No more waffles for anyone since you broke the machine!” We were all in shock. We had been waiting for about 15 minutes at that point. We spoke to the manager who was very nice but nothing really happened and our breakfast was ruined. I got the feeling that this Hampton Inn is family run and this young girl got away with her attitude and disrespectful behavior because of this. Which was sad because all the other people we encountered were so nice and pleasant. There are no laundry facilities on site so you will have to go elsewhere to do your laundry. There are a lot of food options in the area. Again, it was okay and we appreciated the nice staff but we would not stay there again.
