This was my 2nd or 3rd time to stay here. Hotel is lovely. A special shout-out to Anna at the front desk who went out of her way to help me with a change of my room. My only disappointment was with housekeeping. They never replaced all the amenities and towels. I had to call for service on our 2nd day. Other than that, I really like this property, especially it's location.

I really wish I wasn’t writing this but I feel the management needs to hear it. First I was so excited to book this resort, the photos online look amazing. I’ve never been to Colorado so I wanted to treat my family to a great experience . I had saved up over 300,000 Marriott points and thought this was a great place to redeem them, you all know how hard it is to even get 50k points so imagine the let down when you save for so long and have to write a poor review. We check in and about 10 mins of being in our room we hear nothing but a loud broken fan noise not sure where it was coming from but assume it’s AC related because our room was so hot. Called down for maintenance to come look at this , two hours later …they say the AC is broke and we need to relocate our room ( keep in mind this is our travel day going on 9hrs) We then get a different room, once again call down to front desk because we are missing a TV remote and can’t change channels, also stains on the carpet but at this point I was willing to forget about it. On our second night I was surprising my family with an upgraded suite. We move into the suite, to find a crooked television on the wall , light fixtures also crooked , ripped hand towels, hair stuck to the shower wall, pieces to the toilet missing, a broken shower that won’t turn on, stains on the carpet , broken thermostat where somehow maintenance could remotely turn it on from there end . Finally AC kicked on but it was so very loud in the room you couldn’t even hear the TV even when it was turned to volume 25! Also to get to the suite you had to go up to the third floor in one elevator, then walk down a long hallway , get in a second elevator go up, then go up a small flight of stairs, this was fine for us to walk but if you are older or had small children good luck! You would not like the location of your room to inconvenient. Of course I dealt with it and stayed three nights in this room. It was nothing like the photos online . I truly believe this resort was once a gold mine and now it has fallen apart! They need someone to truly inspect the towels and room before sending their guest to the room. Even the pool area. After a long day of hiking I was excited to go into the hot tub. Even that was bad! One hot tub was all boarded up and the other was hot but the jets were broken. To top it off, I return home only to find out they charged my credit card for my stay as if I didn’t redeem any points! Now, I have to contact them to resolve this! I wish I could just move on and hear I am writing a book about my experience and they can’t even get the billing correct! Hard to believe this is a Marriott . If I had one thing that was a pro….it would be the bar staff, shuttle drivers, and super nice concierge. The village part was ok. There are about three or more restaurants that are advertised there and then don’t mention they are permanently closed , so that was annoying. The restaurant onsite had good food.
