“Sharon is the Best!”

We had a fantastic time when he stayed here to see the Biltmore! Sharon went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! She was delightful and sweet! The room was clean and the pool was fantastic! Breakfast was pleasant and the coffee was always fully stocked!

This hotel was clean and comfortable. We needed a room with 2 beds and a pull out couch, which this hotel offered. All of the beds, and even the couch, were comfortable. The breakfast area was well stocked when we went. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the indoor pool. … more

This hotel was clean and comfortable. We needed a room with 2 beds and a pull out couch, which this hotel offered. All of the beds, and even the couch, were comfortable. The breakfast area was well stocked when we went. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the indoor pool. The only downside is that there is only one elevator for the 3-story hotel, and it is rather slow.

Stayed here over the Xmas holiday while visiting family in the area. Mostly a good experience. Pros: Location is close to downtown via the shuttle Location is very close to Greenway / river trails Hotel was very clean as was our room. Bathroom much nicer than expected for the price. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and professional. Very decent breakfast choices Cons Room AC/heat unit was quite loud Missing curtains - full dark blinds were in place, but room was missing 'light' blinds to let some light through Breakfast area quite short on tables, get there early Only lukewarm water from sink. Shower was fine though. Hotel is a bit challenging to get to via a limited access road Would I stay here again. Yes absolutely.

I booked this last minute, and needed a room that would sleep five. Most hotels with availability only had room for four, and so my choices were limited. I booked this last minute, and needed a room that would sleep five. Most hotels with availability only had room for four, and so my choices were limited. This hotel was reasonably well reviewed and slept 5 so I booked. Because it was last minute, I did not get a great rate, and feel like I overpaid for what I got. When booking. a Marriott, there's a baseline set of expectations, and this hotel just barely meets them. It was barely clean enough, but I would not call this a clean hotel. I wouldn't say the hotel is run down, but our room certainly was worn and in need of a refresh. Calling our room a suite is.a stretch as it is one big room with no separate bedroom. The sofa bed was a trundle under the sofa rather than a foldout, and it looked very dusty. I ended up sleeping there because the kids thought it looked too dirty for them. It was fine, but even by the low standards I hold for hotel sofa beds, this was a disappointment. Breakfast in the morning was not much better. When we arrived, my son wanted a waffle. Unfortunately they were out of waffle batter. Then he wanted cereal, but they were out of milk. Only one yogurt was left, too. Seriously, Marriott? I complained to the front desk, and this all got resolved after 5 or 10 minutes, but they should have been on top of things before guests start complaining. I was the first person to make a waffle after the batter was replenished, and... the syrup dispenser was empty. Sigh. Even after getting food restocked, the breakfast was not a very good one. It was typical 2 star hotel fare, mostly breads, oatmeal, some sorry looking eggs and sausage patties. Is it too much to ask for a bit of fresh fruit? This place will do if there are no other options, but for what they're charging there are better alternatives in Asheville.
