“Terrific hotel”

Very nice and clean and comfortable. Employees at front desk, Charissa and Dawna were great. Lee at the breakfast bar was fantastic and so helpful. Kitchen was clean. All the toiletries were good and high end. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were good too.

To begin with I am a person that stays in hotels at least half of the year This year will be 11 of 12 months. I take hoteling seriously. Because of the long periods I need one that is very accommodating and pleasant. I prefer rooms with a kitchen and until recently I only used one brand. A friend convinced me to try a new Brand for me with Hilton and Homewood suites. I have only been here about a week so far. Already I can tell you I may never switch back to the other brand. The GM Troy, specifically, and everyone generally, from the 2 gentlemen that handle breakfast(hot fresh and delicious and different than the norm) to the other staff at the front desk have been pleasant and welcoming. I haven't availed myself of the cleaning dept. as I usually clean my own room. I can testify that the hotel is spotless and my room was as well. If this is a sample of all Hilton products I'm sold!! The rewards program is great too!

“Surviving through hurricane Helene”

My family and I were staying at the Homewood suites Hilton in Asheville Tunnel Road during hurricane Helene from Thursday, September 26th through Monday, September 30 when we were able to get our car out of Asheville to Charlotte for a flight out. That hurricane was one of the most harrowing experiences I have ever been through with my family. We had no water, no electricity, forget air conditioning no food, except for what the staff supplied from their homes after they ran out. I cannot say how incredibly caring the whole staff of this hotel was we had very small babies with us in our wedding group and they made sure that the babies and children were taken care of. We walked up four flights of stairs at least twice a day to bring water from the pool to flush our toilets. We were able to get a hold of bottled water and sheets. There is no water for showers for four days. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and help us carry out buckets of water to flush our toilets. I would like to command. these people especially who helped with our family. Troy in the kitchen was so kind and supportive and brought us bottled waters and made sure we had whatever we could get from the kitchen Lee, our chef went overboard, trying to make sure that we had something to eat, bringing things from his home. another staff member was Shannon, who was so kind to my husband, my baby granddaughter, and myself helping us out carry towels and supplies up and down the stairs for flights since we were on the fourth floor they were wonderful. Everyone else was incredibly kind too. I just didn’t get all their names. Thank you to the staff and I hope Hilton reward you heavily for your actions during the storm while we were there many thanks!

They were attentive, present at all times, accommodating our needs literally to the best of their ability. Kudos to Robe Fulbright, Karen Fox, Dawha Keilman, Chris Ensley, Karen Byers, and Troy and Lee Ferguson!!
