“HQ2 winner”
Great experience, large room, front desk staff especially Alexis. Blueberries for breakfast. Best HQ2 hotel stay and I've been to most of the Marriott and Hilton properties here. So glad they have Evian water and a 24x7 convenience store.

“Nice Friday Night stay”
Excellent experience start to finish. Digital Key worked and Helen from the desk welcomed us on their texting platform. Evening drinks were good and breakfast wonderful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfy too.

Our family of 7 used this hotel for our DC long weekend trip. We flew into Dulles but some family flew into Reagan and loved the hotel shuttle service. I’m picky about hotels and I was worried about “double” beds for the parents and kids. They were long doubles if not queens-interesting definitions?? We chose a corner monument view room and really enjoyed the view. Besides needing more light in the bedroom, like a torchier floor lamp or something, the rooms were fine. Housekeeping was everyday, where do you get that anymore? We reported a saggy shower rod and I suspect it will get fixed. Daryl and Seth at the front desk were very pleasant and responsive to our needs. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choices and plenty of staff. The reception time was a nice treat and the food- vegy’s, dip, snack mix, cheese or chips and dip. One night we had amazing pretzel bites. We don’t drink much alcohol but you can get two free drinks. It’s nice that it is offered every night of the week. By the way, it was quiet and I appreciate that. They had posted quiet hours. Location to metro, shopping and eating is outstanding.

“Nice hotel”
I stayed here for three nights on a recent business trip. The location is pretty nice and the neighborhood around it has improved since the last time I stayed here. The rooms are pretty large and are clean. The breakfast is a big benefit of staying here. The front desk staff was nice.

It was okay. The breakfast was good and the nightly reception was as well. The serving staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, I was never greeted or acknowledged by the reception desk whenever I came back to the hotel. The room was nice and big but was NOT cleaned well. I myself cleaned all the surfaces and the shower – which had the previous guest’s hair still in it! The smoke detector was not installed – it looked like it was removed and never put back as wires were dangling from the ceiling (I did not notice this until the day I checked out – very unsafe). The desk chairs were a tweed-like fabric and FULL OF DUST. The corners of the chairs were caked with dust and as I was cleaning them, found debris in the crevasses. ☹ The windows in the room we stayed in were not sealed well and we could not get the room to be warm. It was cold the entire time we were there (3 nights). Never did I see anyone vacuuming the rooms when they were being cleaned. The whole place is carpeted – why not vacuum? Right by the elevators on the 3rd floor, someone had dropped food – like a pastry or something and there were noticeable (big) crumbs. NO ONE cleaned that our entire stay. Upon checking out, my husband was checking the room to make sure we got everything. He checked behind the bed and saw TONS of dust and debris, what looked like a cigarette butt and other things that should be cleaned up. This was room 316. When I stay in a Hilton, I expect a level of cleanliness, and this hotel was truly lacking. And lastly, why do all these hotels lately NOT have an exhaust fan in the bathroom? Everything gets all wet when you take a shower with no way to extract the steam.
