“Hidden Gem”

Loved new renovated rooms! Very helpful staff. Can’t beat the value for money. People expect 5 star service for 2 star price. If you are looking for an updated, clean rooms in a good area in Anderson you will not be disappointed. Of course you need a 4 star experience you go to Marriott. To me this… more

This motel is a great option for Clemson games or college visit. Ask to stay in the new section of the motel and you will not be disappointed. Great Staff and Great Service.

“☆☆pleasant stay ☆☆☆”

my husband and I stayed here & enjoyed sleeping in the comfortable bed and nobody bothered us. nice staff and they have continental breakfast in the mornings. the housekeepers were friendly as well 🙂 we will definitely be coming back to stay again! We would recommend!

“Average place; has some major cons to staying here but your staying for your moneys worth is all i’ll say.”

I have pros and cons of this place; hence why it's a 2/5 rating. My boyfriend and I came down for a clemson game. We stayed here with our little pet. My first encounter with them was reviving a phone call at 1 pm (in my check in day) saying that my card on file didn't accept? or didn't work? but when I confirmed it online days in advance; it stated the card worked and i was charged. Well i gave her THE SAME EXAT CARD over the phone, and she said it worked... hmmm WOW magic and it was the same damn card. We checked into our room, with plenty of parking spaces. The room smelt okay (we chose a non smoking room). All of the amenities were semi clean and ready to use. We never heard the people next to us or above us; so it was a little peaceful. (morning was a different story) The air went down to 65; we slept with that temperature and it was great. Now to my cons, whenever we went to shower or use the bathroom... we felt there was a small smell. kinda a musky/ sweaty smell. It was not over bearing however and was okay to manage for the 1 night we stayed. And for the people and boise, come 4-6AM there were 5-6 people standing outside my unit (looked homeless standing next to cars and such); they were VERY loudly talking at the wee hours of the morning with no consideration for others. We then walked out of the complex to see 3 run down cars piled with clothes and trash; along with broken windows.. and TERRIBLE parking RIGHT NEXT to my boyfriend truck. (picture will be attatched) We did find 3 bugs in here that were living, looked to be like little beatles climbing on the walls. We killed them and they were all in the bathroom, therefor wasn't a huge deal. And lastly, there was no shower curtain on the shower. therefor we had to lay towels down so that the water didn't soak the floor. But apart from those minor things, the stay was average! It's. basic hotel/motel style; not super fancy but can do subpar for a night. I teetered a 2 ☆ versus 3 ☆ review due to the eerie homeless people and the bugs but it was decent and average for the price we paid.
