“Family travel”
Friendliest front desk staff. Clean and spacious accommodations. Pet friendly. A very nice place. Would recommend for all pet loving travelers. 4 adults and one small Fido comfortably accommodated. Well worth the stop. Breakfast was a plus as well.

“Pleasant surprise!”
Three of us were on our way to Kansas City from Minneapolis and found Grandstay Hotel & Suites in Ames, Iowa to be the perfect midway location. This hotel was very clean and accommodating. “If cleanliness doesn’t matter stay here”
Hotel is due for a renovation, continental breakfast was awful even our teenage son who eats everything in sight couldn’t eat it. Restaurant is connected to hotel. We had the one bedroom and it was perfect for our family of 4. Kids slept on couch and we had the bedroom.
