“Would highly recommend if you are looking to shop and have a kitchenette!”
This hotel was perfect for our stay. The shopping is all within walking distance. The hotel offered an excellent breakfast. We received a free upgrade to our suite which had everything we needed including a full fridge and a small fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to save some $$ when we took… more
This hotel was perfect for our stay. The shopping is all within walking distance. The hotel offered an excellent breakfast. We received a free upgrade to our suite which had everything we needed including a full fridge and a small fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to save some $$ when we took home meals from the nearby restaurants. When we switched rooms, Sikkina the manager and Robert (a maintenance man I think) personally helped us and greeted us with a smile every time we saw them. The rooms were spacious and quiet. I would go back!

I must confess that I am surprised by some of the negative reviews of this hotel. Whan e chose it because it has an EV charger on premises (it's an EV Go DC charger). It's a large, family friendly hotel, and there was a large component of families there for a hockey tournament. The room was nice and big, larger than many Manhattan studio apartments. This allowed for my beloved spouse to get some sleep while I stayed up watching videos in the other room. The room comes with a large refrigerator, cooktop, and microwave. The desk clerk was somewhat inattentive, slow to put down the sheets and blankets he was fussing with in order to respond to our arrival at the front desk. He was cheerful enough when he got behind the front desk. The hotel was a good value for the price. While the hotel is walking distance to a few restaurants in the adjacent shopping village, finding the hotel requires a navigation system or a sherpa. We ended up twisting and turning behind the stores' loading docks before we arrived at the hotel's parking lot. We had a good night's sleep, and left in the morning with a full battery in our EV. It is a perfectly fine hotel that met our needs.

“GREAT LOCATION”
Decent price and a great location. Near the Isle of Palms, plantations, close to downtown Charleston and lots of shopping. Nice breakfast each morning and they had a weekly evening event that my husband really enjoyed. The rooms are run down but were perfectly adequate for our needs.

“Mixed feelings”
Rooms are somewhat dated. Flooring in rooms need updating. Noisy ac gurgling and making a lot of noise. Room darkening drapes do not block out the bright street lights. Did not get much sleep. Hotel has great location near shopping and dining.
