This is our third time this year staying at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque. It is conveniently located off of i25, the staff and other guests are friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet, and breakfast is always delicious. Other perks are the ice cold water in the lobby to fill up our water bottles each morning and evening, and the evening reception. Our third stay in August the hotel was having problems with their AC system. The room was warmer than what we would have liked but still okay. The shower pressure was poor this time as well, but we did not have these issues on our previous visits. (The only reason I can not give the hotel 5 stars is their "hidden" parking fee. I was able to find a sign at the front desk, but I was not able to find it during a brief search on their website. It is $15 a day per vehicle. Yet signs in the parking lot say, "Guest Parking - User assumes all risk." When I asked, the front desk told me the fee was to pay for security to drive around 24/7.) Despite that we really enjoy staying at this hotel!

This is a very nice property. Clean, and breakfast was great as usual. The staff was very professional and helpful. The chef was excellent. I had 2 rooms, I wasn't able to get them connecting, but they did put us close together. I missed the evening reception. I checked in after 7 p.m., but it was offered at this property. They have an indoor pool and a fitness center. Very nice lobby and lots of conference room. Great for weddings or business events. Water pressure wasn't too bad. It is an older property. But very clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Misuse of Hidden Fees Displayed at the Desk is a sign that basically says, You were warned that we charge $15 a day for parking. Which is bizarre in that there was no mention of it in my reservation (via Hilton com), nor is there any gate or fee collection system.. I say misuse because when I was there one of the three elevators was disabled permanently. The other two ran slow and the floor selector would blank out and reset if more than 3 floors were selected Most appalling was their glass roof leaked like a sieve in a recent thunderstorm. It would seem to me that parking money should be retitled Infrastructure Repair, as that's what they really need to do My room was clean, quiet, comfortable. No complaints there. But come on, you gotta fix your roof!
