“Night out in York ”
Great hotel , reasonable price , great sized rooms very clean , just what you need, staff were great and very helpful , the breakfast which was included was a good selection , proper coffee . The twin room beds are the same size as a small double bed . Fully recommended

“A very acceptable hotel”
The hotel looked myself and my 7 colleagues particularly well. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was quite acceptable. Certainly much better than we expected for the price...and very handy for the railway station. I would certainly recommend this hotel

We stopped for one night on a Sunday to visit the Theatre. The room was very clean, warm and modern. It was spacious and quiet. The check in was quick and staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. I thought the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stop at the hotel again and recommend it. The location is excellent with it been closed to train station and city centre

Liked - Room was well proportioned and slightly bigger than I expected. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was spot on with lots of choice and room for people to sit. Reception was bright and all staff we encountered were friendly and well informed. I mentioned on my booking that it was my birthday on check-in and was surprised with a card and a chocolate bar! Disliked - I personally prefer a firmer pillow than the feather ones provided, but this was not an issue. The sliding door for the bathroom/wardrobe was an interesting feature and was slightly stiff to use but was no real bother. The parking is off-site (NCP Tanner Row) but was validated in the hotel at a cheaper rate than advertised.

“Pleasant stay.”
Nice, clean and decorated room with friendly, welcoming staff. Breakfast had a good choice of either cooked or continental.Good location with only a few mins walk to the city centre and York Minster. NCP Parking very expensive. Approx £22 for 1 night. This is after a hotel discount.
